The Diary game with @katie28 || Valentine Ideas and a Relaxing Day || 25-01-2024

Dear Diary,

It’s been a little while, and I finally got a little time to be here. I had quite a relaxing day and I thought to share with you. My day is usually so busy and filled with lectures but today was a free day! Valentine coming someone said and then asked me, Kasie, what do you have install for us as a caterer? I told him I've got the best of plans.

Morning

My morning was a slow one. I woke up around 6:45, but laid in bed till past 7. When I finally got up, I laid my bed and swept my room. I had breakfast around 9am, after having my bath and brushing my teeth.

Breakfast was quite simple, I just had to reheat my food from the previous day. Leftover spaghetti which I added a boiled egg to, it was super delicious trust me. This didn't take much of my time as it was cooked the previous day. From the look of the spaghetti, I'm sure you're salivating already.

Valentine Ideas

My roommates coincidentally didn’t have lectures today too, so we spent the rest of the morning talking. We talked about business ideas, school, our different classes and how our results have been. We ended up coming up with Valentine packages ideas, and how to go about it. We’ll be collaborating(Bernice my roommate and I) cause we both run a snack and food business respectively.

Curating packages for each pocket size was really fun, we have packages from as low as 3,000 naira(about 10 steems) to 50,000 naira. I can’t wait to have the final designs so we can start getting orders. All that’s left is to design the fliers and start posting, so that interested clients can preorder for their preferred packages.

Window shopping

After curating the various packages, we decided to check our local store to be sure the gift items were readily available for purchase. We looked out for fancy ribbons, gift boxes, flower bouquets, faux roses, themed cards, themed bags too, etc.

That took a while as we had to adjust some prices on our list, thanks to inflation and rise in prices of goods! I got hungry and decided to get a sausage roll. That’s simply a sausage with bread wrapped around it. It’s one of my favorite snacks around here.

I ended my day with some fruits. Part of my resolution this year is incorporating more fruits in my diet as much as I can. Mostly to boost my immunity and for a clearer skin. I got two of my favorites; juicy pineapples and some papaya. I always go for the juicy pineapples to avoid those sour aftertaste in my mouth.

My day was quite productive and I’m glad I got to rest and take a break from all the classes.
