In my family we always do things uniquely and especially despite how many we are in my family when it comes to cooking my mom would always want the female in the house to be in the kitchen with her which for this week, I many mother and my younger sister who is also around has been the one doing the cooking.
While the girl's child in my family is busy in the kitchen cooking, the boy's child in my family would be busy cleaning and fetching water. This means in my family work is divided and anything that has to do with kitchen activities, such as going to the market to buy foodstuffs, washing plates, and cooking food is done by female children. This is how we are been brought up in my family.
Anything that has to do with cleaning the house, fetching water, and arranging places in the entire household is done by my brother's family, male children are four who are currently around whereas the other two have traveled.
The two that are around usually complain about work whenever they are been told to do something in the house they complain and show how lazy they are in the evening and night hours when everyone is free from work, which is usually the time my dad is always around is usually the time we do spend quality time in my family gisting and sharing family loved.
My dad is always the one who brings up topics of discussion about his place of work. In normal circumstances, my dad loves gist and stories so much.

It seems like you have very meaningful moments in the afternoon and evening with your family, especially when your father starts telling stories. Your father's habit of sharing stories from his workplace may have created a strong family bond. This is a valuable time, especially when those closest to you can share experiences and discuss things that are important to them.
