Wednesday Work at School with my Grade 1 Pupils

Today is Wednesday, February 19,2025. My daughter is staying at mother's house so I was able to wake up early. I came to school 2 minutes before 7am.

We started the morning routine. While they started to write notes on our GMRC subject, I started eating my breakfast. I didn't eat breakfast at home to save time.

I have a half cup of rice with spam ham. I also have 5 pieces small bread and a hot chocolate. As much as I can, I will not skip breakfast with or without rice. Only during my fasting days will I skip meals or breakfast.

On our math subject, I let them do an artwork using these materials:

• colored paper
• glue
• scissors
• drawing book or a sheet of bondpaper

They will be making an illustration on fractions of 1/2 and 1/4.

I cut circle for them but they'll be the one to cut it into 1/2. I also cut a triangle for them then they will divide it into 1/4. They were all busy and I think they enjoyed our activity. They are very focused when things inside the school are more on creativity.

This is one of my grade 1 pupil's artwork. We should limit our expectations on their work because they are still 6 years old. But I give compliments for them because they will like it. They have different expressions of art depending on their capabilities.

I dismissed the class at 11am and we took our lunch in different places. This ends my diary game today inside my class. I am inviting @chant @blessedbee to write your diary, too.
