MY CHILDHOOD DREAMS
Hi guys, how is your day going,I trust it's good.This contest is an interesting one,"my childhood dreams",wow that's nice.
WHEN YOU WERE SMALL WHAT DID YOU DREAM OF HAVING OR BECOMING IN FUTURE
Guys,when I was small I was just like anyother kid,I play during the day and sleep during the night.Then I didn't know what I wanted to be in future,I didn't know anything about having dreams or aspirations.But one thing marveled and fascinated me.I like going close to animals,I feel this connection with them,their discomfort,I feel their pain,it was like I knew what they wanted at any given time.
I make sure to put water for my mom's bird's then as small as I was,then she be impressed and happy,and each time she forgets to put water for them before going to work she won't be bothered because she knows am there.I do make sure I get small grasses for my aunt's rabbits every morning,they little I can carry.Then when my aunt sees me with their food each time she will smile.One bonus that gave me,I became friends with those animals,they knew me whenever am coming from far they will be happy,we play together most times.
HAVE YOU REALIZED IT?IF YES WHO ASSISTED YOU TO REALIZE IT?OR ARE YOU STILL HOPING TO REALIZE IT?
Guys the first person that gave me a stepping stone to realize my dream is my aunty,my mom's younger sister (she's the last born in girls but not the overall last born).she saw my passion and what gives me happiness she keyed me into the line.she has a pig farm,she was still starting in a small way that she uses to assist herself in school because my aunty is an industrious woman.she was still schooling in UNIZIK,anambara.she brought an animal consultant,they person was not taking care of the pigs well,so it made her leave school for one month to come and take of her pigs.so each time she is inside the farm I am there with her,I help her get the drugs for the children of the pigs(piglets).she will inject them and I will be watching and bringing the pigs to her.My aunty knows am a fast learner that my brain is sharp,they last one she was meant to inject,she gave it to me to do, although I was scared but I had this confidence that I can do it and it turned out that I did it,then she looked at me and smiled then I smiled back.
From then on when my aunty goes back to school,am the one in charge of the pigs,I inject them and sell them when due,I am one that pays her workers that clean the room of the pigs,so of anyone die as a result of carelessness of the workers I deduct it from their salary and they can't do anything instead they will be alert always to clean their room so that cold won't enter their body.so my aunty got me a phone then as small as I was so that I will be able to get to her at any given time to give her updates and she will tell me what to do.My aunt usually sends money for her workers salary to my mom and my mom will give it to me.My aunty also sends my school fees money to my mom,as an appreciation token for allowing me, look after her pigs for her, because when am back from school and my mom finish cooking,I usually eat it in the pig farm,my mom usually begs me at night to come out and go and sleep.

IS IT GOOD TO HAVE DREAMS AND ASPIRATIONS
Yes of course 100%.its good to have dreams and aspiration, look at me today those my small dreams,talent and love for animals has made me get admission to studying Veterinary medicine.In Michael okpara university of agriculture umudike.Studying veterinary medicine has made me happy,my animals happy and whole entire family happy,but it wasn't easy,a journey of a thousand miles starts graudually.My mom when I put veterinary medicine in my jamb book refused that what is animal doctor that she will give me money to go and change it,I tried to reason my mom she was difficult,I told them if they change it am not going to school,there was commotion in the house that period,that my aunty now told my mom to leave me that it's a lucrative course,that they pay veterinarians more than doctors.My mom then allow me.Now when people call me doc,doc my mom will smile.she do call me now am in school and ask me hope am reading well,I will tell her yes.This journey of mine is not easy but I know I will laugh best.
WHAT CAN YOU ADVIC THE YOUNGER KIDS ABOUT DREAMS AND ASPIRATIONS
My advice here to younger kids is that the should follow their hearts, that they should do things that makes them happy and they are happy and satisfied,they should continue doing regardless of what people will say, because I had my own trials.when I got admission people where telling my mom to tell me to drop that the course is had but my confidence was that people graduate from there,so I will also graduate from there.please our dear parents don't stop our dreams and happiness for your selfish interest.
My colleagues In yesterday's chemistry test,am proud to be a veterinarian.
