The diary game of 11/04/24: how I spend my day by @hannybanny

Hello beautiful kids and parents in the house. Welcome back from the long holidays in celebration of the Muslim festival. I believe we all had a good time especially to our Muslim brethren.

Today, I want to tell us how I spent my holiday. Let's read on.

MORNING

I woke up early by 5am to do my morning devotional for one hour and about 6am I went back to bed just to rest since I was not going out in the morning. After enough rest by 8.30am l finally get up from bed to do my routine house core. I took time to sweep, dust and clean the entire house, this act took me a lot of time.

I now prepare breakfast for my self and my nephew that was in the house with me. The house was bored because there was no power supply but with the assistance of my nephew I was able to get along with what I was doing.

AFTERNOON

The day was still long, so I decided we do a craft work and may be teach my nephew how to construct a play work. I checked the house and find some materials to work with. I didn't want to buy anything so I used what we have.

I grap an old calendar, glue, scissors, beads and water crayon. I first of all turn the plain side of the calendar and color it as shown below ;

I now showed him steps on how to make a paper fish.

Step One

I cut the paper into slits.

Step two

Then fold each slit inward so that the end touches the center of the paper. Glue them in place.

Step three

Glue a piece of circular paper over the front to create the fish's head, add fish lips and glue the eye on my new aquatic pal's head.

I allow my little boy to follow suit by practicing on his own. He did excellently well, the spare sheet that I have I used it to do the drawing of the fish.

It was a difficult task, it took us the whole afternoon. It was indeed interesting and the little boy was happy with this act.

EVENING

The craft work ended about 5pm, I quickly rush into the bathroom to wash few clothes that I soaked. Prepare dinner, we ate and continue with our indoor games.

That is how the day went through, at least it was not a wasted holiday. Thank you for you attention.
