Good Morning All My Steemians Friends!

It's with a joyful heart I share with how I spent my last week Thursday. Well you might observed that I'm not active in the platform since that day, it was due to the fact that I put to birth this particular day! Yeah I welcome my new bundle of joy to the world this day! Stay connected as I will unfold how it was.

As an expectant Mother I did obstetric Scan and my Expected Delivery date was Sunday 24th July 2022. But My doctor told me before hand to prepare because I might put to birth 2 weeks before this date or two weeks after that day.

I'd prepared both myself and my home for the newborn baby, and I'd put so many other things in places. I'd packed both baby's essential things and mine which will be needed in the hospital so that I won't have to To run off helter-skelter on the expected day.

As for my home I made it to look pleasant before my baby's arrival, I made it to satisfy all my baby's need.

Now The Big Day Has Arrived!!! My Last Thursday Morning Activities:

I woke up healthy and sound on this day, after my morning devotion I carried out some simple house chores and then prepared jellof rice as breakfast for my family. Then I freshened up, I was chatting with my Steemians Friends on Whatsapp before I slept off.

Afternoon Activities:

I woke up 1:00pm and I realized that I was having some light contractions, aww I realized that my baby will soon arrived so I quickly had a hot bath and I called my hubby to come over to the house because he went to work.

After bathing I went to weave my hair in the saloon, that was around 2pm in the afternoon. I was having strong contractions at the salon, it was a simple hairstyle that lasted for only 20mins.

Coming back from the saloon I packed all the needed stuff into the car and off we drove to the hospital. We reached the hospital by 3:47pm so I went straight to labour ward, the nurses welcome me and gave me my room. She also checked how many CM I've dilated so far and it was 7CM! My elder Sis who's a nurse came around too. Few minutes Membrane was artificially ruptured that was when I was 8CM DILATED. Goodness in less than 15 Mins My bundle of joy Arrived! And it's a Girl!!!

I was so happy 😁 we're fine and healthy! All she knows now is busying growing, sucking and sleeping. She's such an adorable 🥰 girl! I decided to share my joy with you.
