Congratulations to kids and parents for being selected in the season 17 of this great platform challenge. I'm so excited in my entry of this contest because the topic sounds lovely to share ones opinions and also learn from other users. Indeed you people tried in bringing up this great contest topic which had inspired me to expantiate in my own opinion, so without any further ado let's get started.

For the fact that we humans are imperfect we must forgive others and apart from imperfections we must fear God almighty because everyone has sin and gone short of his glory. The truth remain same that whenever we asked for forgiveness he doesn't hesitate to forgive us for this reason don't hesitate to forgive others.

I know that forgiveness is a complex and deeply personal concept which may often define as a conscious decision to release feeling of resentment or vengeance towards someone who has wronged you. And the fact is that it is not about forgetting or excusing the harm done, but rather finding peace and moving forward. By letting go you're gaining its significant benefits which can promote one's emotional and mental health such as depression, anxiety and hostility.

How do you view it and what effect does it have on your family?

I happened to be the last male born in my family. When I was 12 there was a day my parents had an misunderstanding that brings sadness, face-off, grudges between them. It was something I felt bad seeing my parents arguing unnecessary but after some few hours they reconcile and begin to smiling as if nothing happened. It was that time I knew that forgiveness units parents, family, friend, siblings, peer group, and even organization.

When someone wrong you it brings conscious feeling of resentment, hurting that person but if that person realize his wrong doing and ask you for forgiveness don't leave that person without granting his request because you don't know who would help you tomorrow. Though some people don't have that instinct of forgiving quick but for the sake of Almighty forgive and forget.

When you ask someone for forgiveness it means that you have the fear of God because almighty forgive us countless times and it also means that you are free from grudges, unnecessary feeling and you have realizes you mistake in order to change. It equally means you are wise for being faithful in requesting for forgiveness and that would make you received from almighty because you did the right thing.

Is there any scenario that took place in your family that brings out the beauty of this quality?

There was a situation that occurred in my family which brought face-off and sadness between my dad and my senior brother who is now married with kids. The whole misunderstanding begin at the time my senior brother was in search of wife. so months later the girls he brought show my parent as his wife my dad didn't accept her because my dad knows the background of the girl family which he said that my son won't marry from a lazy family.

My dad advise him not to marry the girl but my senior brother didn't agreed rather he resisted that he can't leave the girl because he love her so much. My dad was very argue with him and during that time both of them don't related as father and son. This issue steal happiness that has been governing the home that equally bring disunity mostly between my dad and my senior brother. Moreover, after months later my brother decided to leave home and travel to a city called Asaba in Delta State where he settled with his wife and his kids. And to crown it all my senior brother later apologize to my dad and ask for forgiveness. My father didn't hesitate to accepted him back, and at present we all are living in peace and hormony.

Thank you all

MOD's Observations/suggestions

Thank you for participating in the Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 17 in the Steem kids and parents Community.
It is true what you said that when people do wrong to us, it will breed resentment because it hurts someone's heart, so the best thing to do is to forgive, because it will fix everything, because God is merciful.

Hi, I am glad that peace reigns in your family and that forgiveness was the way that brought you together. When it comes to family, wrongdoing hurts more, it is hard for a parent to see a child walk away, good thing he came to his senses in time. And parents can always argue but we try to solve and give the best example when we love our children and we care about their welfare.

Thank you very much for your time here...

I appreciate alot ma.
