Hey Steemians, really glad to be making this article on Tips for parents in supporting kids with learning disabilities.

I woke up this morning feeling alive, thanks to God.said my prayers, did a few push ups and decided to talk about kids with learning disabilities and how parents can support them.

Kids who have problems getting their school obligations done get tagged as lazy, unserious or not just smart enough for school, which can greatly affect their self esteem and personality.

Schools will always have students/kids that struggle to keep up with learning activities. It is up to the teachers and parents to organise a learning process that helps make the struggle less.

Build a Sincere Relationship With The Kids

Parents can start by explaining what learning disability is and let kids know that it does not make then less valuable or less human, this helps create a sincerely relationship. They just need a different and special way to approach their learning activities that works for them.

Emphasis on Strengths and not Weakness

Focusing on kids' strength will help them stand out among their peers. If a child is good at drawing parent can and should focus on that. In today's digital world, you don't need to be a jack of all trades to succeed.

Encourage Them To Get Role Models

Tell them about people and persons with similar disabilities who achived their goals and found their purpose in life, can actually motivate them to work towards theirs. Let them know they can do it too and even better.

Study Their Emotions Regularly

Kids with learning disabilities often struggle in an out of school. Monitoring their emotions and teaching them to value themselves is one way to help them and this can be achieved by talking to them and showing them their areas of strength.

Encourage kids' Curiosities

Kids with disabilities often tend to be curious and parents should not be stern toward their question but provided answer to them and refer them to resources where they can learn and find out more. Exploring kids' curiosity is one way to find out their areas of greatness.

Divide Task Into Smaller Parts

Kids with learning disabilities tend to get scared and confused of school task and obligations, but divided them into small clearer parts can help them do those task better than we expected.

Glad I could share this with the community and hope to share more and also learn for others on the platform.
