Hey my fellow Steemians! Glad to be sharing this article with y'all and on this amazing community. Today I'll be talking about Teaching and Teachers.
I've taught before, not at a professional level, but I've helped tutor kids and I've learned a few things from my experience that I would love to share.

Teaching is a rewarding and challenging career that entails helping students to learn and grow, and this is not only done by teaching students how to solve complex equations and calculations but by also impacting life skills(discipline, trustworthiness, and even how to handle failure) help them go through life. Teaching is something not everyone can do, It requires knowledge, skills, and personal qualities, including patience, creativity, and a zeal for making a difference in the lives of others.

To become a teacher, one must complete a college or university degree programme in education, as well as a period of supervised student teaching. Teachers are required to continue learning how to impact others as long as they teach.

In the classroom, teachers make lesson plans and notes, assess their progress, give support and guidance as needed and develop specific and unique ways to help students complete and understand their school obligations if needed, and this can be really challenging as i have had little experience, but you don't see them complaining, they show up in class ready to impact. They may also be in contact with students' families, partner with other teachers and school staff, and take part in school, community, state, national and international events.

The duties and work routine of the teachers have changed in recent years as education has evolved and is evolving. Teachers are now expected to be conversant with technology/technological advancement and add it into their teaching.

With all these challenges, teaching remains a highly rewarding career, as a teachers, you have the opportunity to make a positive and direct impact on the lives of your students. Teachers become a parent to student and help in moulding their future by providing them with the skill and knowledge they'll need.

In conclusion, teaching is challenging but rewarding career, as there is a satisfaction and joy you get from seeing your student succeed and know you helped them get there, no amount of money can beat that feeling. Teachers have the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of their students and help them to succeed.

A lot have succeeded thanks to their teachers, but sadly, in this part of the world; Nigeria doesn't give teachers the love, respect and encouragement they need to do more and better. Teachers are underrated and they're the ones helping mould the future of our future.
The respect and admiration doctors, lawyers, engineers and a lot of careers get should be give more to teachers cause they help make those former profession/career.
