Greetings to all parents and kids in the community, am delighted to shear my diary with you all, trust me you will enjoy and learn something significant from it.

I worked hard today and was busy from the moment I woke up with a variety of tasks. I got a good start on the day by doing a variety of housework before leaving for my teaching job.

As a teacher, I'm always eager to teach my students new things and improve their abilities, and today was no different. I dedicated a significant portion of my day to instructing a vocational training session on how to prepare the common West African snack known as chin chin.

In West Africa, especially in Nigeria, chin chin is a common snack food. A mixture of flour, sugar, milk, butter, and spices are combined to produce a dough, which is then shaped into a crispy, sweet or savory snack. The dough is subsequently stretched out and sliced into little pieces, which are commonly deep-fried until crisp and golden.

My students were eager to learn because the course focused on practical. All the ingredients were displayed and shown them one after the other with their functions. I led them through the procedure, demonstrating to them how to knead the dough, roll it out, and cut it into bite-sized pieces. As I walked the class through each stage, they were paying close attention, asking questions, and taking notes.

As we continued in class, the aroma of freshly fried chin chin filled the class room, and when they saw the finished product, my students' faces wre full of happiness and joy. They couldn't wait to try the food they had created, and I was glad to see that all of their hard work had resulted in such a tasty lunch.

Teaching in this vocational training program was also fulfilling for me. I was able to engage with my kids on a more personal level and show them that learning can be fun and fulfilling. Observing them develop new abilities and increase their self-confidence in their gifts was immensely encouraging.

I felt content and successful as the day drew to an end knowing that I had impacted the lives of my kids. Today has caused me to consider why I decided to become a teacher, and I am appreciative of the chance to educate others.

Special thanks to @steemkidss, @ngoenyi, @josepha for their supports.
