Warmest greetings my fellow steemians friends and I welcome you all my blog. I am @emmaboy23 from Nigeria and today I shall be taking part in this contest organized by @mesola titled let's do it..... Do it yourself 👉 craft, creativity, drawing, origami, diy, recycling and more. Today I present to you a simple but yet a stunning bird wall hanging craft, blending basic materials with a thoughtful design to create a colourful and lifelike depiction of a bird in flight. Here's how I made this simple bird wall hanging craft.

MATERIALS

• cardboard
• coloured paper
• gum
• scissors
• pencil
• ruler and
• colour pen

LET'S BEGIN......

step I

To start, I first of all drew and carve out a shape of a bird on my cardboard.

Then I took my different colour paper and then I began to cut them into thin stripes with the length of 8 cm, I did it into many pieces.

After doing that, I then folded the thin stripes of colour paper and gum it's edges.

At this step, I then began to gum the folded stripes of colour paper to the cardboard bird which I carved out. First I gum my pink colour, then yellow and the others followed.

After attaching the coloured paper to the tail, then I went over to the right wings and gum the coloured paper to it also.

Then I went to the other wing and do the same as step 5.

After completing that part, it was now time for me to add colours. First I coloured the body of the bird with dark blue colour and then coloured it's face with green colour and red beak.

Lastly I then added a rope at the back of my craft and then I hung it on a wall

Here's my final result and a picture of I and my craft.

This simple bird wall hanging craft exemplifies how basic materials can be transformed into a stunning piece of art through creativity and effort.
