CONTEST: WHAT IS A FAMILY
INTRODUCTION
Hello my lovely friends,Good day, how are all of you doing? I hope you are all doing great? I want to explain they meaning of family in this contest and I hope I will perform very well.
WHAT IS A FAMILY
A family is define as a group of people living together as a unit with love and happiness.
NAME THE TYPES OF MARRIAGE PRACTICE IN YOUR COUNTRY
In my country they are two important types of marriage practice which are:
- Civil marriage
- Religious marriage
But they are four major types of marriage practice that can be conducted in my country which are:
- Customary marriage
- Church marriage
- Statutory marriage
- Islamic marriage
But in my country it is important for a single couple to practice at Least three kind of the marriage mentioned above together.
DESCRIBE THE MAJOR DIFFERENT BETWEEN THEY TYPE OF MARRIAGE MENTIONED ABOVE
I will explain some of the marriage type I mentioned above which are;
CHURCH MARRIAGE:
Church marriage is a Christian practice, and it is always colourful than customary marriage, and it works with religious ideas of they groom and they bride. Church marriage is preferable than any other marriage.
CUSTOMARY MARRIAGE:
In this marriage they perform according to their tradition of their locality, and they have three type of marriage which are; * monogamy, polygamy and Endogamy.
STATUTORY MARRIAGE
Customary and statutory marriage are the most common marriage, statutory marriage is a monogamous marriage, example are marriage done in a place of worship, marriage done in court and more, this marriage is done at the age of eighteen and above.
EXPLAIN FIVE BENEFITS OF LIVING TOGETHER IN THE FAMILY
The are advantage of living together as a family which are ;
- You will have protection
- Happiness
- Educating they children
- Unity among themselves
- Good and social behavior
IS A HOUSE HELP A MEMBER OF A FAMILY
In a family that has a house help, it is important to be nice to your house help because if their parents are not around the house help is they one that take care of their children and feed them too, so automatically they house help is part of the family.
LIST TEN EXTENDED FAMILY RELATIONSHIP
Here are the ten extended family I know;
- Parent
- Great grandparents
- Aunt's
- Son in law
- Stepchildren
- Children
- Mother's in-law
- Second cousin
- Spouses
- Stepparent
