My first pencil drawing
Hi everyone, its my first attempt on steemit platform to post my pencil drawing. Thou i did this at night, i was unable to sleep last night so i decided to make use of that very hours by making my pencil work, its was about 12:38 that the thought came into my mind, so started looking for what to draw and one of the books i read that morning has some pictures that caches my interest. This is it.
This is the original image, but am only interest in drawing the person on left hand side of the picture.
This is the one am talking about.
By 12:53 i've already gotten what i want to draw, so i set my drawing table, put on a plain sheet of paper, 2 pencils, (one with a sharp edge for drawing and the other with a blunt edge for shading) and eraser.

My drawing materials are ready now.
Step 1
I started with the upper side of the image which is the head of the person on the picture, that will help me determine the length and well positioning of my drawing.
Step 2
I've completed the head and i introduce the two shoulders.
step 3
The full body is outline and partially fixed the two hands.
Step 4
On this part, i've been able to completely fixed one side of the hands, the eye, waist band and shading the beard.
Step 5
At this point i've dress my image with its neck bead and thoroughly do my pencil shading .
My drawing work is set.
