Can fear of lose makes your relationships more closed and trustable?

Certainly, fear of loss can actually profoundly impact relationships both positively and negatively. When people are scared of not having anyone or anything that they value, it might lead to actions and approaches unknowingly strengthening the bond and confidence in the relationship.

Meanwhile, mourning for a person or a relationship may make the person involved in the whole process value the affair even more than when he/she was alive. This increase in worth can result into more attentive, gentle and committed action for togetherness as well as increased openness of communication which entails being honest about their feelings toward each other and above all making an effort to prioritize their commitments (Masterson & Gitman, 1996). In addition, this heightened consciousness for possible loss can serve as a motivation factor for individuals going through conflicts or challenges who want to save on separability pain if they are more invested in maintaining the relationship. Moreover, there is also a deeper sense of trust within the context of this dread of separation.

When one fears losing someone they cherish, their vulnerability may increase and make them able to talk about their insecurities, needs or emotions. Through this the parties involved will become more emotionally connected hence enhanced intimacy and understanding between them. Trust is established when humans are open and vulnerable to each other and in fear of loss can encourage people be real when they relate thereby increasing trust among each other.

The flip side is that fear of losing a relationship can also hinder it adversely. This kind of fear may result in uncertainty, envy and possessiveness which do not bode well for the relationship’s overall health. Those who are afraid of losing something may be controlling, constantly looking for assurance or acting from fear, as opposed to love.

These negative behaviors can erode trust, create tension, and ultimately damage the relationship if not addressed. The fear of loss is a very significant theme throughout this entire story. It makes relationships closed and trustable because it helps them to be more appreciative of one another, vulnerable, and dedicated in terms of their closeness. However individuals should manage this fear effectively through communication self-awareness and other trust building activities which help such situations. In summary, it is up to the individuals who are in relationship with each other as to whether the fear strengthens or weakens their bond.
