Weekly Contest 12 || The Diary Game || [22 August 2024] || Attending Our Church General Youth Day

After praying in the morning, I rushed to my wardrobe and brought out my white shirt 👕 and black trousers 👖, so when I brought ot out i noticed that it was very rumple, i was very stranded and confused 🤔 because there was no power supply I can use to oron my clothes so i now withdraw 1100 from the nearest POS stand, 100 naira for the transaction charge and 1000 naira which I used to buy diesel ⛽. So when I came back I now on the generator and now iron my clothes. After ironing my clothes in the morning, I was now happy and comfortable because I have been thinking on how to iron that my rumpel clothes.

So when I was done with the previous activities, I now went to the kitchen and on the cylinder and boil some water which I used for preparing my breakfast then the remaining I used it for my bathing. So because of the program we had at our church which I already know that may take a long time before we dismiss, i now decided to prepare 'eba and soup' garri and soup as my breakfast so that it can sustain me till then, because garri has a lot of stach and it's is carbohydrates giving food which when digested it's stores as glucose and gives us energy.

So after eating in the morning, I now took my Bible and other materials I needed down to church.

AFTERNOON

I came to church very early so I helped and arranged the chairs for our external visitors, so when we was done dusting all the chair 🪑, it was now time to start up the service proper, so all the choristers now went inside the versery to wear there Chiro rope including I also followed them to wear my catsup (white long garment) as the moderator of the day.
So after we finished changing our priest in charge now did the opening versery prayers 🙏 then we now processed inside the church, then the normal church activities started.

I was actually, the moderator for the day, after the processing in, I now started with reading out the church call to worship then i chant the chanticul and after that I called up the person who read the Psalm then the first lesson so after reading that the choristers now chant the benedictus with there sweet and angelic voice, so after all the chanting and call to worship we no moved to the intersectional prayers which was conducted by the youth assistant prayer coordinator.

When we started the normal youth program on that Wednesday, actually there was a lot of entertaining and educational activities that were participated and I believe that the audience really enjoyed it such as :

• Akuko Uwa
• Debating
• Talk show
• Drama
• Songs

AKUKO UWA was all about things happening in world we are living in, both the negative and the positive. The akuko uwa was read by one of the youth member who's name is sister precious Magnus, and she really presented it well.
The akuko uwa which she read out, firstly, started with a an opening greetings to the president of my country Nigeria and another greetings to the governor of our state were we reside, Dr. Alex Chioma Oti, greeting them for all their good works and efforts to the betterment of the country and states.
She now went into the main story for the day, she shouted, o my goodness!, As all the parents and audience was now concentrated at that moment, so the head topic was about A woman who has sold her three children to ritualists because of the level of hunger in the country. According to the investigations this woman has five children which are three boys and two girls, then she sold two boys and a girl.
So when her husband came back from his travel from the village the wife was unable to give a good explanation of what happened to the children so the husband now reported the case to the police 🚓, so when tbe police finally invented that two of the children was already killed and some of there body pass was cultivated for money ritual, so the woman was arrested. This was were she stopped at the akuko uwa as everyone was happy and appreciated her.

Then we also did a talk show which was conducted by the youth general diocese president, and the topic he discussed was about PARENTAL CARE, so he made some points about our youths of this days and how the are been trained by there parents. Then we also observed our debating and so other programs, before our priest now gave some speech and we now closed for the day.

EVENING

Actually we dismissed so late at church, so I didn't came back home on time, so when I came back home 🏡 i changed my clothes and did and few things then i went to @richy20 house in that evening 🌆 for a group meeting 🤝 due i was 5 minutes late but i know that it wasn't intentional, so we discussed a few things then we closed so that everyone can go home and have his rest.
So when I came back home I the night I was so hungry and tired 😩 but i thank God that the dinner was ready, so i ate it like a hungry lion 😂🤣, and then i went inside my room to have my rest after a stressful day, hmm!,
