My Pictures, My Memories Contest WK #12 👉 My Picture Album is Safe With Steem
Good day everyone and happy glorious Sunday!
I'm so delighted to join this contest and thanks to @ngoenyi who initiated this contest that reminded us those sweet memories we once had. Picture they say speak thousands of words and they have a way to speak about our past. In this contest, I'll be sharing with us three(3) pictures that mean so much to me and the events that surrounded them.
The above picture is one of the events that I graced that will linger in my memory forever. The picture above was taken in year 2020 during the wedding ceremony of my immediate younger sister. The event was so special to me because she was the first daughter my parent will give in hand in marriage. The picture was taken by one of my friend's phone (Samsung Galaxy S10). The event took place in Lagos, Nigeria and many people from all works of life graced the occasion, including some of my colleague at work.
Here in the picture is I in person, my sister and her husband, Dr Taofeeq, Engr Faniyi, and Dr Adejobi.
The picture above reminded me of the good old memories. The picture was taken in the year 2019 during Christmas period at Elegushi beach in Lagos, Nigeria. The visit to the beach was well planned for because it was conceived in the early part of the year in other to have a fun packed event.
On that fateful day! I left my state of residence and headed straight to Lagos to have a taste of the funfair of the yuletide season. On get to Lagos, I visited some amusement parks, shopping mall, ShopRite at Maryland, and finally headed to the Elegushi beach to catch up with family and friends. Here in the picture is my cousin, his wife and kids.
The gathering was so colourful and eventful that I can't forget in a hurry. The picture was taken with my infinix S5 phone and it was taken through selfie.
The picture here means a lot to me because the memory it shared can't be erased in my heart forever.
The picture reminded me when I did my second degree convocation at Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria in the year 2021. The picture was taken by a professional photographer at God's grace studio Ile-Ife, Nigeria. Here in the picture was I, the newly Masters' degree holder full of excitement.
This event is so special to me because it will always reminds me of the difficulties I passed through before I acquired the certificate.
What can you say about this contest, any suggestions, for improvement (optional)
The contest is nice and it allow us to remember the good old days stored in pictures.
I'll employ more contestants to participate in the future contest.
