Hi friends so happy to be here , it was another glorious day to me and the entire wwp members because we were so excited to reach this height, at this time , we needed to count our blessings and name them one by one for Gods faithfulness upon our lives in this 10 years ,
So we were looking forward to a great service.we were instructed to every one we can to come celebrate with us in this great event.so an a member of this great fellowship ,we had great plans for the event. We started by sharing our fliers around the neighbourhood to passerby each of them receiving them with great joy this was done days before the event.

The meaning of Wwp.

Wwp as the name imply means when women pray .it is a interdenominational group for women founded by a woman named Apostle Opi Apga. It was founded for the purpose of bringing women together from all works of life to have fellowship amd oneness together in love and unity .it helps women discover their true purpose in life and marriage, it is a formidable force that helps women take their place in life through prayers, this group has help women in mending their homes and knowing their true essence in marriage . it has also help women to discover some certain possibilities in life when they are faced with different circumstances of life . it helps women battle situations first using the word of God,among other testimonies wwp is a place that every Christian woman should reckon with.

I join wwp back in the year 2019 and i can tell of many blessings , testimonies and knowledge that i have acquired ever since i join the group , i could remember back then when i was invited by my church friend in portharcourt, i felt reluctant to go but when i finally did i was glad i did ,it is situated in different cities in the country and we also have wwp in diaspora . with 72 centres across Nigeria and still counting ,it has uplift ,build and restore many homes.
We have our vision , mission and core values that guides us.we are intentional women and praying women.

OUR VISION

Our vision is to raise a generation of women who are hungry for God, spiritually alert and conscious of their spirituality in their sphere of contacts ,these are women who are intentional in their Christian work with God,so they practice what they profess as christians.

OUR MISSION

our mission is to teach the word of God in a very practical manner and pray deliberately towards achieving these. And our valves are:-

Forgive quickly
No gossip .patience and love dearly.

MORNING ACTIVITIES

I woke up so excited because i had an important event to attend , i was so happy because i had a lot to do , we invited alot of guests to the events, i had to arrived there on time , so firstly i connected to my online meeting because being a wwp member doesn't stop you to be active in your local church ,so i had to connect to my prayers in the morning and also prepare the children for school dat morning too.so i could do all that and also prepare breakfast and lunch for their lunch boxes for them , it was a busy morning for me and i did that successfully without a scratch and fortunately for me ,the school bus came early and they all left for school.

So i had just my self to prepare for the epock making event.so my clothes were set i had my bath and i started dressing up,when i finished dressing up , i set out to the road to get a vehicle that will take me there,we had a uniform we wore but for the people that didnt have , they can wear whatever they have .

When i set out to leave , i saw a vehicle just after my house and i entered the vehicle when he reached the closest bus stop i dropped and just strolled down the venue .it wasn't so far from the main road when i got there i met a very colourful arena with different people positioned everywhere with some ladies tiring their gele (head gear).

I was holding mine so i had to wait for mine to be tied , i had to take my number because i met alot of people also waiting for the same purpose ,so i took my line because as a wipian its compulsory that during such Anniversary or thanksgiving ceremony we must tie our gele . so i must comply by working in obedience.
I waited for long before mine was tied ,i needed a very simple style so i told the person incharge
to give them something simple and unique which she did and i came out like this.

THE EVENT

When i was done with my gele , i went inside the hall to see my friends and my unit members because here in wwp am a member of the protocol unit , so were the ones taking care of the pastors so i went in to prepare and set the table and put certain things in their respecctive places ,and the events started with several prayers ,singing and dancing.it was fun ,it was excellent and very great.

It was indeed a great event with so much people thanking God for all what he has Done for us in these 10 years indeed it was 10 years of Gods blessings , Gods faithfulness and his mercies , 10 years of Gods provisions and protections ,10 years of growth and supernatural supplies . this and so much more that we were grateful for.so we had different departments like d protocol , choirs , ushers sanctuary , who (welfare) , finance , baby shower etc coming out to thank the lord for their achievements in the last 10 years.

In all these celebrations , the young wipians were not excluded , they are the children in our midst , they also joined us in giving God thanks.

It was a great service we had a special dance group that thrill us with different beat and different dance steps.They were invited by one
of us and they came with their drums and other musical instruments

After that came a brief sermon by our pastor the coordinator of wwp uyo pst shade mac dominic. She brought a brief exaltation to us on the need of thanksgiving. She took most of her scriptures from the book of psalms , she explain to us the benefits of thanks giving in our lives as christians ,we all enjoyed the service .after which i went to the guys to collect their card i really love their display so they were glad to give me one .

We always never fail to recognize women who come to worship with us for the first time because after the service we have a brief talk with them before they leave and we also have an entertainment for them , we also create space in our event to celebrate their presence and encourage them to come again.

After all the ceremonies , the anniversary cake was shared amongst us ,every one were ask to take a bite even if it was small, i took mine and eat , it was very yummy as we close the service for today and everyone departed to their various homes. I had to rush back home because i had other programmes to take care of.
Getting home , it was already late , i had to take care of certain things before the kids arrive because i also had a brief meeting in church that evening .

EVENING HOURS

I rush back home and prepared dinner for the kids prepared the house for the evening and waited for them to returned from school before going for my meeting, so did the needful before i knew it ,they were back , i had to take care of them , keep their dinner for them to eat just incase i stay a little longer at my meeting because since they wake up early to prepare for school, they sleep very early too , so i try to make sure they have all things on time including dinner so they can sleep early , i was able to achieve that and move to church for a departmental meeting .
Though i arrived late because i left home late too and heavy traffic along the road also contributed to it but it was better late than never because if i had stay back i will need to pay #3000 naira fine so to avert that i had to be there also because important matters were to be discussed so i arrived like 40 minutes into the meeting it was still okay we talk about various concerns in the department, we were a total of 15 people that attended the meeting , it was getting late and the weather was funny ,it was suppose to be an hour meeting but it took longer than expected, but eventually we close and people dispatch , i had to join a dear brother in his car so he could drop me at my dearest bus stop which he did and i took another vehicle home .
Reaching home my children had already slept , i had to knock on the door several times for any of them to open the door for me .
Fortunately my first son did with his sleepy eyes ,i entered the house , i moved them to their rooms to go and sleep and i went to the bathroom to take a fresh bath and relax for sleep to take.
