Hello everyone! I am @cephasmbah from Nigeria, and today I come here to talk about the contest topic "Recreation" in the Steem kids and parents community. If you see my post, I hope you are doing well. I am also doing well. Again, I am happy to meet you all again on this my post.

This contest is also among the Steemit Engagement Challenge season eleven and week five, and I write with joy from my heart because I hope to be a winner in this challenge. Without much talk and easy sentences, I wrote this article using the tips given for the contest.

Firstly, recreational activities are very good, like recreation itself. This writer, which is me, purely sees recreation activities as fun activities and as activities that keep all parts of the body and mind in a relaxed state when being practiced.

What do you understand by recreation, including its forms?

Recreation could be understood as an activity carried out by an individual or a group of persons in their free time, and these activities are seen as fun, such as reading, meditation, swimming, playing games, e.t.c. Recreation is just like taking a break after a long day of work.

What types of recreational activities have you enjoyed (state three of them)?

I enjoy swimming a lot. Whenever I am inside the water, mostly when it is sunny and in the heat period, I never feel like leaving; I am just happy to be there. Secondly, I play games with my phone, and I even sometimes dance, as this is also one of the recreational activities I enjoy doing.

Why are recreational activities important for kids and parents?

Recreational activities are important for kids and parents because everybody needs to recreate the body at all times for better functioning of both the brain and the body system. It is also good for both parents and kids to practice recreational activities that are not dull.

Where do you enjoy your recreational activities most?

My recreational activities are enjoyed mostly at home. At home, I have all the leisure time in the world to do my recreational activities. I wouldn't be comfortable enjoying my recreational activities in public, as one of my major recreational activities is reading, which doesn't need noise.

Who do you enjoy having recreational activities with?

As a single person, I enjoy having my recreational activities with my mother, as she keeps me company while performing such activities, and I do make her do the activities as well, as such forms of activities are very good for older people.
