Update #96: Writing Expedition ✍️, Have Fun while Writing! Steem Powerup (26.107)

How are you today, Fellow Steemians? I believe you all are fine as I am. Today, Sunday, I have powered up 26.107 Steem, and I am here to show you the step-by-step process. I appreciate @steemkidss for organising and sustaining this contest.

MEANING OF POWER-UP
Power-up is the conversion or transfer of liquid Steem into Steem power to enable a Steemian to get more influence.

BENEFIT OF POWER-UP
Some of the important power-ups are.

1. Powering up helps in building Steem power which also helps in growing one reputation on Steemit.
2. Converting Steem to Steem power makes Steem scarce thereby influencing its price positively.
3. It makes you become a trusted Steemian.
4. Powering up is an investment of steam and getting it back in the future.
5. Powering up helps Stemian to move from one club to another.
6. You earn more curation rewards.

PROCESS OF POWERING UP STEEM
There are different ways of powering up Steem. A Steemian can:

1. Convert Steem Dollars (SBD) into Steem through the marketplace and then convert it to Steem Power.
2. Powering up your earned Steem into Steem power.

MY PROCESS FOR THE POWER-UP
The first step I did was to log into my wallet. So I click on the wallet, and it opens up. While in the wallet, I have to provide my posting key to enable me to have access to do the power-up. On entering the posting key, this page opens.

My current Steem is writing there: 26.107 STEEM and my current STEEM POWER IS 1103.326 STEEM, all in green ink.

The next thing I did was to tap on the small triangle close to the steem, and a menu popped up.

On the menu, I click on power up, and a new page pops up whose heading is convert to STEEM POWER.

On this page, I clicked on the amount and typed 26.107 which means I am converting 26.107 STEEM, and the power-up button changed to black.

I clicked on the power-up button and it took me to another page whose heading was Confirm Transfer To Vesting.

I clicked on Ok and Immediately my STEEM POWER changed from 1103.326 STEEM to 1129.433 STEEM and the liquid steem turned to 0.000 Steem
