Update #95: Writing Expedition ✍️, Have Fun while Writing! Creative Drawing/Design Using Jeans Material

Greetings, fellow Steemians. How are you today? I hope you are all fine. For this Tuesday's entry, I have creatively drawn and designed a piece of artwork that can serve as wall decoration using carton and jeans materials. I appreciate the steemkidss & parent community for this platform. I also thank @steemkidss for organizing the contest.

Materials For Construction

• Waste carton
• Pencil
• Eraser
• Sharpener
• Scissors
• Ruler
• Evostic gum
• Jeans material
• Crystal fabric mesh
• Ruler

Step 1
I measured a rectangular carton of the size 14 inches by 9 inches which serves as my frame for the drawing and craft.

Step 2
I drew a kettle and a hand holding it on paper. After that, I used my cutter to cut out the drawing neatly.

Step 3
I placed the cutout kettle on a jeans material and traced it using a biro, after the tracing, I used my scissors to cut out the kettle.

Step 4
I used evostik gum to glue the jeans kettle on my carton frame. I then used my blue pen to neatly draw the cover of the kettle and the joint between the body of the kettle and the opening for pouring water. I also used pencil to draw the hands of a lady holding the kettle.

Step 5
I drew a tea cup on a jeans material using a blue pen, and after the drawing, I cut it out using scissors and a paper cutter.

Step 6
I gummed the cut-out jeans on the carton frame as shown below using evostik gum.

Step 7
I painted the hands of the lady white and the inside of the cup using a white acrylic colour. I also coloured the shirt she is wearing using green bold maker and red acrylic colour. I then used black acrylic colour to clearly draw the hands of the lady.

Step 8
I used black wool as the black lipton water been poured from the kettle into the cup. I measured the wool, cut it with scissors and gummed it using evostik gum. I also gummed a moulded black wool at the cover of the kettle to serve as a handle for opening the kettle.

Step 9
I cut a small rectangular carton and gummed it under the teacup to serve as a table, and I gummed it back using acrylic colour.

Step 10
I gummed a fabric crystal mesh around the carton frame to beautify the frame and the entire piece of the artwork.
