The Diary Game || 6-02-24 || Last Day of Exams for the Week

Dear Diary,

It was the last day of my exams for the week. We had one more left to write. My happiness was just like springs of water flowing from a valley. I couldn't just express it. Now, it feels like I'm back on steemit for engagements and quality contents. I've been offline for a while now or better still, struggling to post because of my exams which I had to put first place or prioritise. The most difficult of course was trashed, so my hopes and focus are now placed.

My morning was dawn on campus as my friend and I killed the night. He wanted to read with me as he feels okay reading with me than others. We covered the course we were to have the that morning and then slept off. I couldn't sleep after the incident that happened the previous day of how someone's phone was taken by the security because he slept on the desk and left it by his side.

These securities are doing this to ensure people don't complain of missing phones again. He even related how a young lady slept outside as there were no lecture halls to accommodate her and her friends. She slept there and left her phone by side. The security went to where she laid and took the phone. She was unaware. He even woke her but she went back to sleep. What if it were a student whose job is to steal people's phones? The phone would have gone.

Morning came right in time and I did the needful so as to leave for the venue of the exams by 8Am. I had my breakfast from a food vendor of Fried Rice with salad and moi moi. I then left with my coursemate after eating that meal. I then read one scripture on my way to the venue. The scripture helped me see the importance of forgiving those offend me as my creator does so as well.

The exams was to be held in one of the biggest halls in my campus. I left early so as to refresh my memory on some things. It seems not to enter but I forced it no doubt. The exams commenced in no time.

Bags weren't allowed in the exams hall. So we looked for where our bags would be kept as we couldn't keep it outside. Looking for a trusted place to secure our bags was no easy task but we saw a place no doubt. The exams was the simplest of exams I've ever written. I never expected the exams to be this simple but it was. So I squashed it without remaining a bone.

After writing the exams, my friends and I took to capturing the moments. We had 8 free days before the next exams. I was just so elated that I had these much time. We then left for photographing, shooting all the moments of ourselves, showing our excitement about the last exams for the week. These are pictures of friends and I. @nsijoro and @basil20 made my day. @nsijoro bought ice-cream for us all.

On leaving campus, I had to capture the happening areas in my friend's street. The first notable place in this street is the big dumping site.

Dumping Site	This seems to be the biggest refuse dumping site in this street. The waste here has never been less. These waste takers go there everyday to ensure they pack these waste as it multiplies more at night than during the day.
Bend down select Boutique	This is one open boutique for female students on campus. Female wears for school are sold there and ladies fluck in there like bees, looking for small wears to put on and look good. The woman here makes a lot of money I must admit.
Food vendor	This is one popular food vendor outside campus that gives people quality meals that's why most students prefer leaving their campusesto purchase these delicious delicacies outside.
The indomitable stand	Here, indomie is cooked, and old to students who come and buy. This place can never be lacking someone behind. There's always customer there to purchase noodles. The ship is run by a man. If I'm to estimate, that man makes more than 50k daily.
The Jovic salon	This salon was one of the best salon here before they relocated to another place. In this salon, spa was conducted, face treatment and products, hair styling and plaiting.. They were known in that street for offering quality services.
The popular snacks vendor	He makes snacks from flour everyday and students really patronise him because his puff-puff surpasses any other person's.
The despacito	This is another food stand for students but mostly on shawarma, salad and smoodies. Students Gluck in here as well.

The sun was scourging as we took to heading for home. I felt tired already because of the scourge. It was as if the sun was on my head. As we walked past the streets, we saw one of the drainage system covered as the road was under maintenance. This reminds me of the worker that died in the drainage when it was still at work. He fell into it and all the irons in the drainage entered his body. He died at the spot.

When I got to my friend's house, I took to having small lunch. I went to a store to purchase some things that would fill my hungry stomach. On returning, I took to watching a movie while eating. In no time, I slept off till evening. I prepared dinner that night for my friends to eat as well as myself. I then bought chicken from a roadside vendor.
