Contest: Christmas and Its Origin..Do you know?

It's 25th December, the people's proposed day to celebrate Christmas as the day Jesus was born. Winter really showed up its face, fireworks filled the skies the night before, many are already in the kitchen, some in drinking parlours or eateries, others are in the market purchasing things for the popular celebration to celebrate among friends and families.

Most of us were brought up to see Christmas as a popular celebration and well accepted by many. Because it's acceptable by majority, we choose to follow suite not minding if the origin can be traced. We just have the belief Christmas is a celebration of Jesus which isn't bad. Could there be more?

Let's learn from other people's entries to see if it's actually worthwhile celebrating it or not. It's a season of love they say. Let's express how we feel and also do some findings if we could see any hidden fact. It's just like growing up to see your parents celebrating Chrisdol Moment.

You grew up with the mindset that this Chrisdol moment is a way of Praising God and Worshiping him but you have no idea it has origin to idol worship. Since it's the Chrisdol Moment that's heard and is attributed to praising God and Worshiping him, we become less concerned if it has roots. This contest is not to crucify or abuse anyone's viewpoint but for us to learn from that of others.
