SEC17 WK:#1: Forgiveness unites family
INTRODUCTION
Forgiveness is not as easy as people sees it. And you should know that it's often more of a journey rather than decision. Forgiveness is about moving past the hurts, toxicity, trolls, persecution and finding a way to heal and move forward. Leaving our anger and resentment towards the people who has wronged us is what we should always practice as human, as Christians and Muslims.
Before I give the meaning of forgiveness I will like to refer us to some Bible passages that I love alot and that has helped me stay on track in forgiving others their wrongs
First : "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you." - Ephesians 4:32
This verse of the Bible always reminds me that we should follow God's example of forgiveness, just as He has forgiven us for our sins. It's a powerful reminder that forgiveness is a key part of the Christian faith, and that we should strive to forgive others as God has forgiven us. We sin against God everyday and his unending love is what has helped us to be consumed how much wrong has our neighbours done to uss that we can't forgive them? Think 🤔
Second Bible chapter "For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." - Matthew 6:14-15
I want you to know that Forgiveness is not only something we do for others, but also something that God does for us. He gave his only begotten son that you may have life and he died on the cross for you and i. I want you to know that When we choose to forgive, we receive the gift of forgiveness from God. Jesus have his life for your own sins how much more is your brother's sin that you cannot forgive?
The word "forgiveness units family," gives me the sense think about the power of forgiveness that brings healing and reconciliation to families. Forgiveness is a very difficult process, which personally I have passed through, the times I was betrayed, forsaken and maltreated,but it is very powerful and gives you that peace of mind. I believe that When family members forgive each other, it allows them to let go of past hurts and move forward with love and understanding. That will help them stand tye test of time together.
After my dad died, some of my uncle's didn't visit us again, they don't even know how we were fairing. They totally forgot about us and we reciprocated the same attitude towards them. To cut the long story short, just yesterday, we were called for meetings by the elders and requested that we forgive him and reconcile as families. It was a difficult process but them how long do we have to bear grudges in our hearts when we don't know what tomorrow holds?
From what I know and have experienced, forgiveness can lead us to a stronger, healthier relationship that is more able to withstand both present and future challenges. Forgiveness is a gift that we can give ourselves and our loved ones, and it can have a transformative effect on our relationships with God and our families. As a person, forgiveness has been my pillar of living a free and healthy life. Because how do I sleep with so much grudges in my heart and so for this reason I want everyone to know that it is very important to always bear in mind to forgive those who have sinned against us so that our prayers can be answered. To err is human and to forgive is divine
According to experience,Forgiveness is a very powerful tool that is been used in healing and strengthening family bonds. Sometimes I wonder how some people go to bed with so much hate and grudges in their hearts. Some people can go years with talking to their family members and still see it as a normal lifestyle. It is important to know that when families stay United it will be hard for the devil to penetrate. Have you not heard that the families that pray together, stays together how can this be possible when you don't talk to each other? Stop giving the devil the space into your life with the spirit of unforgiviness in your heart.
In conclusion.
I want you to know that Forgiveness is avery important because it allows us to release toxic emotions from our heart and our lives. Forgiveness opens doors for healing and reconciliation and it is very important for us to always practice forgiveness.

Forgiveness is a very important tool that keeps friends, families together. And it is good that we always practice forgiveness as it is the best way to enjoy peace.
Forgiveness is key. There is so much that forgiveness can do to us. Do you know that it is the key to us been united. Some people mighty actually say that it is difficult to forgive but that's true. That it is actually difficult does not mean it is impossible. If God can actually command us to forgive and forget, then God actually knows that we can and we should do it. I have seen a lot of innocent life's suffering due to the fact that they don't learn to forgive. I have also come to discover that there is so much that forgiveness does to us. It actually helps us to heal and heal those wounds in our soul before it actually goes out of hand. A lot of families will have been living more in unity and harmony if only they have learn the act of forgiviness. Trust me so much will have change in their life's. Yes I know it might be difficult to do but in some cases, that is the best option we can do
