Update #84: Monday Writing Expedition ✍️: Weather ☁️ Conditions in Nigeria "A Unique Mix"
It's with great excitement I'm extending my greetings to everyone in this community. Looking into this week I feel more motivated to start with the writing expedition and I'll be talking about the "weather conditions" here in Akwa Ibom State, a southern state in Nigeria and I hope you enjoy it.
- In the late October, Nigeria as a whole experiences a fascinating blend of weather. The rainy season is still very much active, and heavy rains continue to fall during the week runs. At the same time, the sun shines brightly, creating a very unique feeling like both rainy and sunny seasons are all happening together in this month. This combination can definitely affect our health in different ways.
When it do rains, the temperature 🌡️ often cools down, making it so comfortable for people. However, when the sun 🌞 comes out as well, it can get quite warm. This very change in temperature can really make us feel different, and it’s important to listen 👂 to our bodies. Staying more hydrated is essential, and especially when it’s sunny, while also wearing light clothes can help keep us cool.
The Mysterious Sky Change |
---|
Recently in the past week, many of us here in Nigeria *noticed something really strange: the sky changed did from blue to red or orange for a short time at around the evening hours. This unusual event can really be attributed to several factors. One of it I reason could be the presence of the dust or smoke in the atmosphere, which can really scatter sunlight and create a different colors in the sky. Another critical reason I suggest could be a sunset or sunrise, where maybe the sunlight passes through more of the Earth's atmosphere, resulting in this incredible aesthetic colors.
- Such changes resulting in the sky can remind us more of nature's beauty and power. It is a more credible opportunity to learn about weather patterns and also how they can change quickly. Understanding all these patterns helps us appreciate the environment and really stay safe.
Lessons I Learned |
---|
1. Observe Nature: Taking time to notice the weather around us. Is it sunny, rainy, or cloudy? Each type of the weather has its own beauty and a lessons.
2. Stay Safe: Always be aware of any sudden weather changes. If we see dark clouds or feel a strong winds, it might be a sign of a storm or probably something really important to be curious.
3. Ask Questions: If probably something unusual happens, like as that of the sky turning red, ask why this incident might be. Learning more about the science behind weather can be so exciting! as it's one of the attitude I've gained knowledge with.
4. Share Your Thoughts: Discussing the weather experiences with friends and family. Sharing anything to helps everyone learn and do appreciate nature more.
"In conclusion,"
Nigeria's in the late October weather is a mix of the sunshine and rain, creating a unique experiences. The recent change in the sky colour which I've noticed is a reminder of our nature's wonders. So please Let's keep exploring and learning from the world we have around us!
