"DANCE CHALLENGE WEEK #9"
On this day it was truly interesting 🤔 to really celebrate the first Sunday of November, and I feel so much grateful to God Almighty for sustaining my dear life and my family's life until this very day. The very best way I found really worthy to praise God for all His amazing blessings was to dance to a beautiful Christian highlife song sung in the Ibibio dialect.
Tell us about the song you danced to. |
---|
The amazing song I did danced to is an impactful highlife Christian song by the very Prophet UsenObong, a very talented musician from Akwa Ibom. I really love his music because he helps brings joy and energy through his songs, most especially in the local Christian highlife genre. His amazing and melodies always inspire me to feel more closer to God and celebrate life.
What's Inspired you to dance? |
---|
My own inspiration to dance comes from no where else except God's grace, mercy, and the fulfillment I do feel in my heart. I believe so much that dancing is a wonderful way to express my own joy and gratitude for all the good things God has done for me and my dear family. so listening👂 to this song lyrics, then I feel it's the best to dance with, I'll be sharing the lyrics on both the Ibibio version and English version with you all
Ibibio version
intro:
Ami ye toro abasi mi,
ko efri odudu mi ke isong,
eyong ye kwo enem ekan,
itoro idi kure-ghe.
Chorus:
_ Ami mkpokum ke fi okpodiok,
Abasi amanam yak ndik otu owo.
English Version
intro:
I'll praise thee o my lord,
with all the strength I have here on earth 🌍,
Heaven will sing thee the sweetest,
Thy praise will Never varnish.
Chorus:
_ If I don't praise you, it will be bad,
God you have make me belong to the Genders.
What's your advice to those who do not love dancing? |
---|
Well as I've alway said, For those of you who don’t love dancing, I will want to say that it’s indeed always a privilege to dance, so whether for the exercise or as a way to really motivate ourselves in God's presence. It doesn't matter at all how you dance; what really matters is the joy and the gratitude you show through your motivational movements.
Tell us how you felt recording your dance video. |
---|
Indeed While I was recording my dance video, I felt more well-deserved happiness and also a strong desire to really reciprocate God's honor. I'll say It was an incredible moment where I see and could express my love for Him through my dance.
