As kids we love making various things based on our thinking and imaginations. I want to teach us on how to make a fancy paper purse. For this paper purse you will need these items : 2 plain sheets of paper, a ruler, scissors, a pencil or a pen, water colors, a gum, glitters and stone beads.

STEPS ON HOW TO CREATE A FANCY PAPER PURSE

• Place the plain sheet on a table and use a ruler to draw out a square shape on the piece of paper. With a ruler cut out the square and further trim the edges and place aside.

• From the bottom at both ends bend the paper upwards to form 2 halves of the paper, then press it downwards and straighten it very well at the middle.
  After folding the paper and placing aside, get the other sheet of paper and cut in strips a bit thin able to fold, cut 2 strips.

• Now apply gum generously in between the strip of paper up and down and attach it at the sides of the plain paper that was previously folded in two. This will prevent it sides from opening up.

• After closing the purses sides, its time for the decorations. The purse is placed on the table and on it any pattern of your choice can be drawn. Glitters are sprinkled on it to make it shine, on the patterns you draw place gum on the patterns tracing it right to its end then stone beads are placed on it carefully.

• Adding colors, we use our watercolor set to paint and with our paint brushes paint is added on the paper purse on sides with no designs. It is then left to dry in other for the paint to be more attractive.

USES

This purse can be used to keep our little money from our allowances our parents gives us. It could also serve as a play tool when with friends.
