Hello everyone on the @steemkidss community, I truly appreciate the leadership of this great community for this contest where we ought to write about our thoughts over love with #skids-charity50pc
I am @akwashphil.

What do you understand by love?

Love is the reflection of divine nature that has been implanted in us mortal by God himself.
And I understand that love is selfless, giving, sacrificial, kind, practical and doesn't keep grudges.

Who can show love and why?

Humans can show love, pets can also show love.
Why humans can show love is because we are created with love and the ability to show.
We are to show love to people and everything around us because

No man is an island

Therefore, we have to show love to one another for coexistence.
A well fed dog shows love to the owner by being loyal and obedience.
If animal can show love, then humans can too.

Have you shown someone love, how did you do that and how did the recipent feel?

Of course I have shown someone love through advice and gifts.
Last week, I showed love to my sick elder brother by helping him on his farm.
He was under the weather and I had to help harvest his crops.
To me I showed him love because I came all the way from another town to help him and he was so happy and relieved because I saw joy on his face.

Has anyone shown you love before and how did you feel when love was shown to you?

Yes I have been shown love countless times before and still being showed love till now.
I felt happy and appreciated and alive.
I was like, wow! So people still have me at heart.
@pato84 and @charis20 had one time in different occasions fed me after steemit trainings and I felt it's an act of love shown to me.
I was very happy because I was already hungry when they both fed me.
Thanks to them.

Express your love to someone in a practical way.

This is my elder brother's building project and I helped cast the linter since I could do it, I felt there was no need paying someone to do it when I am there.
That was part of my contribution to his project.

Do you think love is a virtue that should be cultivated by all and be demonstrated in a practical way?

Yes I believe love is a virtue that we all should cultivate and demonstrate in a practical way.
Just like my understanding, love is practical and shouldn't be kept in the heart only but shared so everyone can see and feel it.

How did you learn to show love and where?

I learned love from my family.
Firstly from my mother then other members of the family.
Yes my mother comes first because we shared a bond which is love and I learned to show love in my home before I extended it outside to other people.

How will the world look like if everyone cultivates this quality?

The world will be free of evil, envy and wickedness if everyone cultivates love

Conclusion

Finally, when we love, we reflect divine nature of God and when we love we enjoy human nature that God expect of us.
Therefore everyone needs love.
