Hello, my wonderful friends; how are you all doing? Am so glad to have you in my blog once again this day and also want to share with you how I spent my day and how it was; at the same time, I want to sincerely appreciate this great and wonderful community #steemkidss for always standing strong for every steemian on all ways, I appreciate you you once more.
In the morning
Being Sunday 03 of November 2024 I woke up as early as possible to meet up with the activity of the day. In the morning when I woke up, I do the needful for myself by thanking God for his mercy and protection all through my night because I know was by his mercy that am still alive so i first of all thank he before I look forward to all other things of the day.
After all that, being Sunday a day that christian worship which I am also; so I go ahead and take my bath and dressed up early for church because our own side service is by 6am in the morning and close by 8am. So I do so to meet up with the time of going to the church.
Below here I share with you the word of God I was talk on.
FIRST READING
“Head: O Israel, you shall love the Lord with all your heart.”
A reading from the Book of Deuteronomy 6:2-6
Moses spoke to the people, saying, “Fear the Lord your God, you and your son and your son’s son, by keeping all his statutes and his commandments, which I command you, all the days of your life; that your days may be prolonged. Hear therefore, O Israel, and be careful to do them; that it may go well with you, and that you may multiply greatly, as the Lord, the God of your fathers, has promised you, in a land flowing with milk and honey. “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord; and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, anal with all your might. And these words which I command you this day shall be upon your heart.”
SECOND READING
“He holds his priesthood permanently, because he continues for ever.”
A reading from the Letter to the Hebrews 7:23-28
Brethren: The priests [of the former covenant] were many in number, because they were prevented by death from continuing in office; but Christ holds his priesthood permanently, because he continues for ever. Consequently he is able for all time to save those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them. For it was fitting that we should have such a high priest, holy, blameless, unstained, separated from sinners, exalted above the heavens. He has no need, like those high priests, to offer sacrifices daily, first for his own sins and then for those of the people; he did this once for all when he offered up himself. Indeed, the law appoints men in their weakness as high priests, but the word of the oath, which came later than the law, appoints a Son who has been made perfect for ever.
GOSPEL
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Mark 12:28b-34
“You shall love the Lord your God. You shall love your neighbour. ”
At that time: One of the scribes came up to Jesus and asked him, “Which commandment is the first of all?” Jesus answered, “The first is, ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one; and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ The second is this, ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” And the scribe said to him, “You are right, Teacher; you have truly said that he is one, and there is no other but he; and to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the strength, and to love one’s neighbour as oneself, is much more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.” And when Jesus saw that he answered wisely, he said to him, “You are not far from the kingdom of God.” And after that no one dared to ask him any question.
This is the word of God I was preach on that day and I believe that after reading both the first, second and gospel reading you will get to understanding that in all the scripture, it is all talking about love were on a specific place is written that you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength. This was an answer giving to one of the scribes who ask Jesus “Which commandment is the first of all?”
While before the final bless In the church, one of our elderly person formal minister of information and defence Honorable Labara Maku was also in the church that day, so before the prise (Reverend Father) say the last prayer he say something marvelous to the Man by saying please I need you to look onto the youth the are most I need of your help, that he know that he have the connection and the way what a happier thing to everyone in church as the prise told he that
I with @joseph and all others were so happy as he told he the Ture in church and I pray that may God use he anybody to help us.
However, after the service I went back home and I took off my church dress and dress up with the normal one that is okay for all activities and I went out and took my rams to were there are grasses for them to feed from them and after that I come home and have a full rest as it's not supposed to work on Sunday.
I appreciate you all for giving out your time to reading through my blog know it's not easy, so I therefore thank you so much and may God grant each and everyone of our heart desires according to his will Amen.
