"How I survived amidst the Pandemic"@zehel15

It was a devastating news when the virus outbreak hit not only Philippines but also all over the world, the time when we all have to thrive not only physically but also mentally. Allow me to introduce my self as it is my first time posting here steemian friends.

Hello friends, My name is Niel and I am from the Philippines. I get to know steemit because a friend who is already on the platform but I just share about my life recently. I was working as an information technician in one of the major companies here in Cebu until I lost my job last year.

I felt so down and stressed out that I even forgot to cut my hair off until it becomes longer than I used to do. I was isolated in my own room by myself because I was stocked in their when the leaders of our province decided to immediately shut down all access outside our house. Because of this I was depressed.

HOW I SURVIVED?

I decided to open my piggy bank of 1 year and luckily I was able to save enough to purchase this internet peso wifi machine. At first I was very hesitant because everbody is isolated on their house so it is impossible for them to go out and use my device, still I continued the installation of my network provider and immediately use this box to earn a living. I prayed hard and hopeful that the risk I took was a good decision and would somehow help me during this time when I lost my job.

Thankfully, after the installation, I was able to accumulate enough amount to pay my bills and sustain my need for a month. Now, I am able to have one more machine. What is my take away with my situation? It is life is always full of ups and down, obstacles and challenges to test us and taking risk is sometimes neccessaru in order to get what we want.
