THE DIARY GAME : 16/08/2020..A super-duper Sunday

I have always said it and I will continue to say it that Sundays are not just glorious for me, they are super glorious and I always look forward to this special day. Of course it's my freest day. A day I do not have to bother myself about work hurdle, stress and all... So am as free as a bird. Then most importantly the excitement that comes with going to the presence of God.

Today is not different. I woke up around 7am, said my prayers, did my body fit exercise and all... Also I did some house chores like cleaning and dusting, and in-between all that I thought of cooking beans. So I went to fix that while also preparing for church. I finished all that and I ate around 9:30am.

I stepped out of the house around 9:45am and started the service with other members at 10am. I must say in the presence of God there's fullness of joy. I have once highlighted how our church service is conducted..I attend Celestial Church of Christ and we observe the service in accordance with the doctrine of the church as given by the holy spirit.

A quick one...we started the service with prayer at the entrance of the church, went in singing the recessional hymn. The choir go in first, followed by members from the youngest to the most senior in rank. Then hymn of forgiveness, prayers, hymn of Thanksgiving, prayers, hymn of holy spirit, three members prayers, hymn of faith, silent prayers, first bible reading, short prayer, hymn, second bible reading, short prayer, hymn, announcement, the Creed, sermon, tithe and offerings, special thanks offerings, closing hymn and we finished the service with recessional hymn. So it was a Sunday full of activities. After service I greeted some of my friends and got back home around 3:15pm. It was a blessed day for me
