Here is our application for the Communities of The Month Support Program.

Steeming Community Purpose

Steeming Community is a community for all Steemit users around the globe who love sharing varieties of beneficial life experiences, life hacks, and discoveries. We encourage our members to post anything beneficial to people's life. May it be spiritual, emotional, or physical. With the intention that users not only enjoy posting but also learn something from those shared posts. The reason why most of the contests we have here are based on themes in which transfer of learning can happen when shared.

If you want to learn or if you want others to learn from you, Steeming Community is the right place for you.
As we mentioned above, our community is more on sharing beneficial life experiences, life hacks, and discoveries where transfer of learning can happen to anyone. Again, most of the contests we have here are based on themes in which one not only enjoys posting but also learns something from those shared posts.

Community Team

Steeming Community Team is consists of the following:

• @cryptokannon as the admin founder. She is from Malaysia currently residing in Japan. Fluent in both Bahasa Melayu and English. She is being assisted by 8 other active moderators.
• @imamalkimas from Indonesia. He is fluent in the Indonesian language and understands English well.
• @juichi from the Philippines currently residing in Japan. He is fluent in Tagalog and English.
• @fabio2614 from the Philippines. She is fluent in Tagalog and English.
• @boss75 from Bangladesh. He is fluent in Bengali and good at English.
• @advhl from Venezuela. She is fluent in Spanish and understands English.
• @jesusremaj7 from Venezuela. He is fluent in Spanish and understands English.
• @psicoparedes from Venezuela. He is fluent in Spanish and English.
• @alejos7ven from Venezuela. He is fluent in Spanish and English.

We set aside 20% of the 50% SBD payout reward for the moderator's incentive. We pay them on a biweekly or monthly basis depending on our community curation earning from the 50% SBD post payout rewards.
Besides these liquid steem rewards, our moderators that organize any contest in the community also get 10% of the contest's announcement and winners announcement post payout.
Lastly, our moderators will get incentives through their community post that will then be selected for booming curation.

Currently, @cryptokannon, steemitblog, and steemcurator01 are the Admins of the Steeming Community. They may do what is appropriate just in case the founder admin @cryptokannon is somehow gone or left.

Community Curation Account

@steemingcuration is our community curation account and currently has effective power of 41,202.83 SP. About 9,066.90 SP of its own and 32,135.93 SP delegated to it. It can be seen that our call to delegate is effective due to the amount of delegation collected.

Our plan for growing the SP
We have been implementing our long-term plan for this. Aside from encouraging our community members to delegate to the community curation account, we also asked them to set 30% of their post payout to @steemingcuration every time they post at Steeming Community.

Currently, the post rewards from @steemingcuration account that are from the 50% SBD reward; 30% of it converted to Steem for power up then 20% for the team incentives, 40% for delegators payout and community contest prizes, and 10% of it to @steemingcharity account.
The other 50% SP reward is just as it is as we want to grow the account SP as much as possible.
Only @cryptokannon holds the master password for this community curation account. All the moderators have the posting key and only @fabio2614 and @alejos7ven for the activation key , as they are helping the admin founder to distribute the contest prize and also setting up some script bot for our curation trail. @alejos7ven has set up a voting bot that all of our team moderators can use to upvote our community members with the command of !zen x% and each mod with limited bandwidth to decrease the voting abuse attempt. Here is an example of this curation bot in action.

According to https://steemworld.org/@steemingcuration @steemingcuration has 13.3 Voting CSI. All of our moderators have the privilege of having their post upvote once a day with a full 100% VP. Then to our delegators based on their SP amount delegated and to our community members. If we have some VP mana left for a day, our moderators will support other alliance communities such as @cotina and @japansteemit and its member's posts.

Plagiarism & Abuse

We have @psicoparedes leading the plagiarism and abuse team in our community besides having help from the @endingplagiarism team.
Almost 90% of our active members have verified themselves through community contests that require them to verify themselves and also they all have completed at least achievement 1 of Newcomers Community Program.
Also, to further strengthen the effort, we have them verified, giving them a💧steemingzen badge as and identity that they are member of Steeming Community.
We have constantly reminded our community members to make sure that they give sources to any material such as photos or articles that is not their own.

Engagement & Commenting;

Our team of moderators is required to comment on every post that they have selected for Booming Support Program. They have commented on all of the contest entry posts too.
We have encouraged our community members to engage more in the community by having the policy of "to receive support for their post in the community, the members are required to comment and upvote at least 3 other community members' post before promoting their post at our discord server promotion channel."

Founder admin usually does the monthly update on community budget, delegators payout, biweekly update for the delegation, and the activities in the community.

Promotion

We have a Twitter account for the steemingcuration community to tweet any publications that are in our community. Besides this, our team members will open a telegram channel for Spanish speaker users, so they can use that medium to communicate besides the discord server that we currently have.
We have been from the beginning only allow #steemexclusive posts in our community and we will continue to do so. As of now, we have 6,140 subscribers and 105 active users.

Anything Else

Have all your team members committed to #club5050?
Some team members have already powered
up half of their income to show their support to #club5050 initiative. We are hoping that the rest will also follow as this is beneficial to all users of steemit.

How are you encouraging members of your community to commit to #club5050?
We will make further encouragement to our members in the coming days. Our team will talk about ideas on how to promote #club5050 and will focus on this matter.

What success with promoting #club5050 has your community had so far?
To date, only a few members are joining #club5050 initiative as we are still planning to talk more about this. Though we have not seen any success yet, we are positive that this initiative will bring huge success not only in our community but the rest of the Steemit communities.

Hopefully, Steemit team will give us more support to increase more users in our community and to support the further development of our community. We aim high to be a unique community. As we mention above we will be focusing more on what is beneficial, life hacks, DIY, and the likes. In a way, members will be learning from each other.
