Steeming Charity Petition | A strong widow mother in need | By @Psicoparedes🧠
Hello everyone from the growing Steeming community. On this occasion I want to make a call for help for an important person who is currently going through difficult times. I want to make this post as a way to seek for support. This post is made as a way to make the case known.
This lady you can see in the photo is called Alegna Bravo. She is 59 years old. She lives here in Maracaibo, Venezuela. She is a coronavirus patient, and a victim of atrocious pneumonia that kept her hospitalized recently. She is one of my dear aunts, wife of one of my late grandfather's brothers. She is a very responsible person and a great housewife, a widowed woman who also saw her husband die at an early age.
She has a son, who is one of my cousins, and we are the same age. Both of us are 23 years old. We are engineers, I am an oil engineer, and he is an electrical engineer. My aunt is a single mother and widow, and with her many efforts she has tried to get her family through, as she has two children. Her son, my cousin, his name is Hector Machado. Her eldest daughter, named Elena, recently emigrated to try to get a better life with her husband and daughter. Now, my cousin Hector and my aunt Alegna have been getting by, the way they can, so they can survive here.
My Aunt Alegna has been suffering from severe symptoms of coronavirus, and she has had to need oxygen, as well as a lot of medication and special treatments. She is a fighting mother who deserves to keep fighting and living so that she can accompany the only child she has left in the country.
My grandfather used to help my cousin a lot with college, as my cousin's father, my grandfather's brother, passed away when my cousin was young. Since then, we have been very united. My aunt is the only person my cousin currently has, and it is unfair that they are going through these difficult times. That is why I want to make this post to support them, because they are having a terrible time.
Next, I want to show all the medical receipts, medicines, and studies that have been done to my aunt.
This is a plaque of her lungs
This is her medical report
These are the meds she needs
Here in Venezuela, hospitals are full of coronavirus patients, as here is not enough inputs to be able to care for the large number of patients who are staying in these hospitals. A lot of people are dying from that.
Venezuela is currently an extremely poor country with limited economic resources and poor medical support, so maintaining coronavirus patients makes a total challenge for all of us here in the country.
With this case, I want the opportunity to request a donation from the Charity project that is available here within the community. I would like the case to be considered and a donation to be provided to me so that I can afford the medical expenses and medications my aunt needs in order to successfully continue and wage her fight with this horrible coronavirus.
I want to be responsible, personally, for receiving the donation and for changing the money to our local currency, so that I can somehow give my cousin a breath. I know he must be very afraid right now. If the case is supported, I will be making a future publication showing the transfers made and the use that has been given to said donation, showing the treatment and medicines purchased with such donations, as well as the use that has been given to it, as a financial support.
I will make the future publication in order to verify that the donation has had and fulfilled its purpose, in addition, the rewards that I can collect in this publication will also be destined to join the donations received. This is why I will dedicate the money of this post too, for a humanitarian support given to my family. All of this will be evidenced in a future publication that I will make, if I am given the support needed.
We really appreciate the good cause the community has been working on, and the life we all have brought to the community, full of supportive people and kind-hearted people as well. Thank you for reading my post. Any help is welcome here.
Sorry about your aunt, I hope the situations in Venezuela get better soon. If any of the Steem community members want to help they may either donate steem or upvote this post to help.
