Ladies and gentlemen, good evening.

First of all, I joined Steemit last April 2021 through the help of @ikur14 and @mercy11. They encouraged me to try and post something that I love. At first, I was hesitant because my grammar was not that good. Introducing myself was a little bit hard for me but little by little I came to love the platform. 😊

Being in this platform allowed me to interact with new people. I got to know amazing steemianz who also helped me to know more about Steemit. Special thanks to @kyrie1234 and @juichi for inspiring me to make my contents. Steemit also inspire me to inspire my sisters @vrein @aleph.null and my mom @forever.young to be in this platform too.

What I like about Steemit is that it became my open journal. I can freely express my thoughts without judgement. It became my outlet of emotions, it allows me to share the experience that I had. I've learned a lot from the contents of others.

STEEMIT AS A BLESSING

Steemit was a blessing in disguise. Steemit helped me in times that I needed it the most. The first blessing that Steemit gave me was my Church for my wedding. I was a worried when I booked my church because my downpayment was not enough.

The church required me to have a full payment. God was so amazing that through Steemit, He provided me a way to settle the payment. 😊 Praise God! 😊

Another thing that I am thankful to Steemit, most especially to the Steeming Community, was the steem I received for my father.

More than just the amount I got from my contents, I think the biggest achievement that I have in Steemit is being a content creator. I never imagined myself writing a content with atleast 300 words and all ENGLISH! 🤣 Like, seriuosly? 🤣 But I challenged myself to do better each day!

To all newbies in the platform, just keep pushing forward. Don't just create contents for compliance, create contents from the heart because it really shows your true feelings through blogging.

UPDATE

As of now, my father was discharged from the hospital and he is still recovering from the surgery.

He needs to undergo Physical Theraphy for 2 months, 3x per week, to help him gain back his strength and to be able to walk without his walker or scratches.

This will be a long journey guys but with God's grace, I know that we can make it through. 😊

WHAT DID I DO WITH THE STEEM

3x a week therapy is very expensive. It costs 4,000-5,000 per week. We were looking for ways to get funds to continue his theraphy.

The steem, together with my sbd fund was used for the additional payment for his theraphy. It is really a big help for my dad. We were able to extend another week for his theraphy. God really provides a way for us to get funds to support his recovery.

As of now, he can use his right foot but not with full capacity, the allowable strenght to be use is only at 50% so that his hip will not be stressed out. Little by little until he can reach 100%.

It is so fulfilling to see him walk again little by little. To see your father fighting and doing his best to be back on track is priceless.
