Mi boda transcurrió a finales del año 2013, comencé a organizar todo con un año de anticipación, se llevó a cabo en la iglesia catedral de mi ciudad natal y la recepción fue en el salón de fiestas de un reconocido hotel ubicado frente al mar.

My wedding took place at the end of 2013, I began to organize everything a year in advance, it took place in the cathedral church of my hometown and the reception was in the party room of a renowned hotel located in front of the sea.

Me esforcé para que ese día fuera inolvidable tanto para mi como para mis invitados, contraté una organizadora de eventos para que estuviera pendiente hasta del más mínimo detalle. La recepción fue súper divertida con música en vivo, DJ, hora loca, samba, pues quería ver a todos felices ese día.

Escogí compartir este grato recuerdo con todos ustedes , porque el día de mi boda representa uno de los recuerdos más preciados de mi vida, no solo porque me uní a la persona que amo, sino también porque ese día aprendí que no debemos limitarnos a la hora de compartir con los seres queridos porque tal vez esa sea la última oportunidad que Dios nos está dando para regocijarnos y ser feliz junto a ellos.

I chose to share this fond memory with all of you, because my wedding day represents one of the most precious memories of my life, not only because I joined the person I love, but also because that day I learned that we should not limit ourselves to time. to share with loved ones because perhaps that is the last opportunity that God is giving us to rejoice and be happy with them.

Desde niña he amado compartir y hacer reuniones con mi familia, mi mes favorito es el mes de diciembre porque me encanta esmerarme para recibir a familiares y amigos en mi casa para consentirlos con mis comidas y postres deliciosos típicos de esa fecha.

Since I was a child I have loved to share and have meetings with my family, my favorite month is the month of December because I love to do my best to receive family and friends in my house to pamper them with my delicious meals and desserts typical of that date.

El día de mi boda no fue la excepción hice y rehice la lista de invitados mil veces porque no quería dejar a nadie por fuera y cuando pensaba en le presupuesto, comenzaba a dudar con respecto a la cantidad de personas, pues quería que todos estuvieran bien atendidos con comida y bebidas. Pero a pesar de que las personas que me estaban ayudando en la organización me pidieron que reducirá la cantidad de personas, hice caso omiso a eso e invité a todos con los que quería compartir en ese día tan especial para mi. Para ser exactos mi lista de invitados fue de 300 personas. Les confieso que hasta el último momento me mantuve nerviosa por ese número.

My wedding day was no exception, I did and redid the guest list a thousand times because I did not want to leave anyone out and when I thought about the budget, I began to doubt about the number of people, because I wanted everyone to be fine. catered for with food and drinks. But even though the people who were helping me in the organization asked me to reduce the number of people, I ignored that and invited everyone with whom I wanted to share on that special day for me. To be exact, my guest list was 300 people. I confess that until the last moment I was nervous about that number.

Finalmente todos asistieron y fueron atendidos como siempre lo soñé, gracias a Dios sobró comida y bebidas y todos quedaron muy complacidos. Y yo inmensamente feliz porque nos divertimos muchísimo bailamos, cantamos, lloramos, reímos, nos abrazamos, nos reencontramos, y hoy en día doy gracias por ese día, porqué muchos de los que estuvieron allí, nunca más los he vuelto a ver por diferentes razones. Unos dejaron éste plano terrenal por enfermedad cáncer, covid, mientras que otros se fueron a diferentes países en busca de mejoras económicas.

Finally everyone attended and were treated as I always dreamed of, thank God there was food and drinks left over and everyone was very pleased. And I am immensely happy because we had a lot of fun, we danced, we sang, we cried, we laughed, we hugged each other, we met again, and today I give thanks for that day, because many of those who were there, I have never seen them again for different reasons. . Some left this earthly plane due to cancer disease, covid, while others went to different countries in search of economic improvements.

Es decir, ese día tan especial para mi lo hizo más especial el hecho de que fue una despedida para muchos de mis seres amados. Cada vez que miro las fotos y videos de mi boda me lleno de nostalgia al ver que muchos ya no están, ni volverán a estar junto a mi riendo y bailando como aquel día.

In other words, that special day for me was made more special by the fact that it was a goodbye for many of my loved ones. Every time I look at the photos and videos of my wedding, I am filled with nostalgia to see that many are no longer there, nor will they be with me again, laughing and dancing like that day.
