Teachers' Innovation on School Beautification: Mini Park
Let me show you a few of the teacher's innovation that amazes me and really deserve an applause. Our school in the city has no more space for a school garden what else is left for a "school park"? What the teachers did instead of continuing the habit of just planting in the pot, they made the small spaces even more beautiful like that of a park.
By the way, this is a chain of command from the above management. All schools are doing this not only in high school but also in elementary. What made it amazing is, the idea is original from the teacher themselves. Only, it looks like we are back to student again working on a project with our own money 😆 and what's more, since it's pandemic and there are no students to order so the teachers themselves do the job.
This area here, this is where I chose to pass every time I deliver my child's answer sheets to their School. I really look around every time I pass this place. The talent of the one who come up with these idea is amazing. He seems really a pro and the design is not commonly seen in school. Anyway, I just said this because I only saw something like this here.
Before the pandemic, this place was a guard house. Then the teachers beautified the small space on the side and converted it into a "Science Park".
The area was used to be an ordinary yard. Back then, we parents were asked to bring vegetable plants to be planted here. But what the teachers did was clean up the area and make it a Math Park. It used to have no one to look around, but now parents are taking pictures because the place is now beautiful.
This area is used to be an ordinary edge of the building. The potted plants are the only decoration here. It's not ugly because it's clean, but it's also not attractive. So those who pass by don't notice it. But now it is made into "Hardin Botanika" by the teachers making the place more attractive.
You will be really impressed because it can be made beautiful with only them working. How much more if there are students who can help them do the job? I think it will be even more beautiful.
