Motivation Story - Same Message But Different Understanding

Are you all fine and healthy..? I hope everyone is always in good health and continues to be happy to live the days. This time I want to tell a story that might be a motivation for all of us to reflect on in our daily lives. This story is about a will that is applied with two mindsets.

This is the story of a will from a father to his two sons, the message conveyed has the same content. Before their father died they received a will which said "never collect debts from anyone and never let your body be exposed to direct sunlight". After five years their father passed away and they have lived their own lives according to the will they had received from their father. One day their mother came to them one by one, the first child named Iwan with his mother's pity face approached Iwan and asked him: "O my son, why is your business and life so chaotic now?"

Iwan also replied: "I did all this in accordance with the message of my father's will, namely the first message that I was prohibited from collecting receivables from anyone so that many receivables were not paid because I did not collect so I ran out of business capital and went bankrupt and the second message my father forbade me I am directly exposed to the heat of the sun, so I go home and go by taxi every day so the expenses are very high every day”

Then the next day their mother went to visit their second son, Ahmad, who had been known as a successful businessman and philanthropist. Arriving at Ahmad's place, his mother asked: "O Ahmad my son, your life and business is very successful, what tips and secrets do you apply?"
Ahmad also answered his mother's question with a happy smile: "this is all because of my father's will that I applied, namely the first message that I was forbidden to collect receivables from anyone so I didn't give my customers to owe but I gave alms so my money became a blessing and the second message my father forbade me to be exposed to direct sunlight that's why I go to work every day before sunrise and come home after sunset so all customers know if I open shop early and close late.”

From the story, we can see that with one testament message can be interpreted and understood with two mindsets from the children, then a message can be understood with several mindsets. Take care and manage your mindset so you can get good meaning and results.
