Thongs of Thorns (Part 6)

Miserable: Miserable?... Do you think you are miserable?
Murphy: I don’t think. I know I am miserable. I am miserable right now. I’ve always been miserable; look at me, my life sucks. Everyone hates me, my own friends despise me. I wonder what you are still doing here or maybe you will turn to become these people who call me friend but mock me behind my back (He transfers his aggression on her).
Natasha: Murphy, I could never do that to you, I have always seen the good in you even if everyone else sees you as a loser, I see someone who is struggling so hard to win.
Murphy: Well, I am no longer struggling to win. I now know I am nothing but a failure.
Natasha: No, you are not. Listen, Murphy, we would get through this hard time together. I promise you.
Murphy: We? We? … (He repeated) I am your partner… No, I was your partner. There is no we. I am on my own now. You retain your position in the company and I get to be kicked out. There is no we.
Natasha: You are so insensitive. Your brains should have been replaced with that of a cow. How can you say that to me after all I have done for you? Do you think I am doing all these because you were my partner?
*Murphy: No? No? Then why were you doing it?
Natasha: I did it because I love you!! (She yelled). I have always loved you, Murphy! All I ever wanted was you but you have refused to grow up!! I can’t do this with you anymore! If you want to keep behaving like a child then keep on (She cried and left the house).
That day Murphy knew he was the dumbest and most undeserving person alive. His life at this point was shattered; He was running away from being convicted for reckless driving and causing a woman her only child as declared in the news and he was also labeled the worst friend alive. It was too much for him to take but he had to make a hard decision that would change his life. First, he decided it was over having such friends as he had; he felt they were the wrong tools he chose to build his life with, since as far as he knows they hadn’t any positive impact on his life. Secondly, he would make peace with Natasha which was the right pillar that has faithfully held his life. Thirdly, he makes a decision not to take alcohol again, seeing what it has done to him and how it has claimed the life of a child and crippled the leg of a woman.
Murphy cannot leave his house because he is too scared, knowing that the police are searching for him. He pleads with Natasha and asks her to come to see him.
Murphy: (cross his fingers) Nat… (feeling very remorseful). Nat…
Natasha: What is it? (Still angry with him).
Murphy: (Walks to her and holds her hands) Nat please look at me (he keeps pleading).
Natasha: Say it … What do you want from me? (She angrily asks).
Murphy: I am so sorry, deeply sorry for making you feel the way I made you feel … Nat you are a very good friend. I was stupid. I see it now. Nat, I mean every word coming out of my mouth right now. I am sorry, I do not deserve your friendship.
Natasha: Yes, you don’t (she quickly interrupts as tears drop down her eyes).

Hello @steemcurator02, I need a little help here concerning my eligibility for SCA. When I check it for the past one month, counting from the previous day, I get 161sp but when I check it counting back the last one month from the current day, I get 90+. Now the thing is I have actually been watching it's progression. It moved from 135 to 145 to 151, then finally161 when I powered up 10 steem about four days ago. It is quite confusing to me that when I check from Nov 30 (which is the last day of Nov) to Dec 31, I get 161 but when I check from Dec 1 to Jan 1, I get 90+. It doesn't seem to make sense. Please I need your reply, however if you are not so sure of the way the app works, you may ask someone who has better understanding of the way the app works. Thank you.
