SPUD4STEEM June 2021 and Delegated Proof of Stake...

It is Steem Power Up day in my time zone. I join this SPUD4STEEM by powering up my Steem and I think I will delegate it to @steemingcuration to get more Steem and keep powering up until I reach my own personal goal of accumulated steem power.
Come join us power up your Steem. It is good for supporting the community you believe in and for you to get support on Steem ecosystem you have to first support the community here by powering up your steem and delegate to the community curation account.

Most newcomers come to only earn and cash out all the steem that they have earn here then going everywhere to ask for support after finish up using all of their steem, without even thinking of supporting others. Some even feel entitled to feel that they must earn thousand of dollars worth of steem in here for the effort that they have put in building the community here and kept complaining they still have lack support 🙄 Remember Steem blockchain was built based on Delegated Proof of Stake model. Your earning here based on how many stakes you put in the ecosystem. Your time and energy building the community without putting any money in this ecosystem will be paid according to how the stakeholder of steem see deem fit. You can complain all you want about how you have worked hard and use all your energy and time on Steemit but if the steem power holder or those who have more Steem Power on steem blockchain see that it has not added value to the ecosystem, then it is up to them to decide. That is what delegated proof of stake is.

Some newcomers complaint about how they feel demotivated because they see that trending page has earn thousands of dollar worth on post that just publishes 1 photo without anything there, again now you see how Delegated Proof of Stake works.
Those post you see at trending page that without any quality is because they have delegated their Steem Power/steem they have bought from the exchange and delegate to this upvote service that will upvote their post according to how many steem power they delegate to this upvote service. Note that Steemit curators will not support any post that already being support by these upvote services. You do this at your own discretion.

Then complain about getting a downvote from a random account. Note that people who have high steem power and decide that they want to downvote your post have every right to do that as this is how the system has been built. Again Delegated Proof of Stake at work. If you want to encounter that downvote attack then you have to build your own steem power where you can counter-attack that downvote, but this is not recommended and usually, those who downvoting people in here without any solid reasons will be frowned upon. For newcomers, if you see that some random account without much Steem Power and Reputation on Steemit kept downvoting your post, these accounts are harmless, it will do nothing to your reward or account reputation. You only care if this account that downvotess you have higher steem power than you, that they can eliminate your post reward, and also with a higher reputation than you that they can decrease your reputation on Steemit.

I think that is all for my random thoughts and personal opinion about things that going on in this community. Remember Steem ecosystem is based on Delegated Proof of Stake, you are not entitled to any upvotes or support in here unless those with the stake/Steem Power see that you should have the upvote.
