Prompt: 2/1 - "My Bag is Packed"
In North Texas, there is a quaint city named Grapevine. Doesn't sound like much, does it? But you'd be amazed at the activities and hustle and bustle surrounding the city. This is due to the large indoor water park that includes an attached hotel called "Great Wolf Lodge".
Vacationers come from all around to visit this indoor park. So no matter the season, especially in winter, you and your family can enjoy a weekend of fun year round. As the name states, it's a hotel. The vacation package is for the hotel. The indoor water park is included in the price.
We visited Grapevine in March, 2019. While the younger family members booked their reservation at the lodge, we enjoyed the nearly RV Resort, THE VINYARDS CAMPGROUND AND CABINS, just five minutes away. It's a beautiful resort on Lake Grapevine.
On our previous visit, we weren't able to go sightseeing due to a cold front that came through. Temperatures dipped into the 40s. It was just too cold with rain each day to really enjoy the outdoor activities.
So we decided to return this year, but in a couple months when winter is over. It will be lots of fun for all. I hope to visit the old historic downtown area, the glass blowing factory, and take in a show at the dinner theatre.
My bag is packed year round because I keep a suitcase and vanity full. All I have to do is add a few other items. Then I'm ready to go on vacation.

Thanks @steemitboard for bringing me news of my new badge and accomplishment. I strive each week to accomplish more than the previous one. Still a ways to go as I'm steadily growning and earning.
Looks like a nice getaway. Keeping a bag packed and ready saves time when you are ready to go. One of my peeves about travelling is packing and unpacking when I get home.
I shudder at packing @redheadpei, and downright detest unpacking. Sometimes it'll be a week or two before I fully unpack. I still haven't gone to my RV to get the remainder of my items from our family reunion last October. And I haven't missed them either, lol.
The only item I make sure to pack and unpack is my medicines. Everything else I can either pick up going, or buy again upon return. Now that's a shame.
Hope you're having a great week so far. Time just flies seems like these past few years. I can still remember the flurry of turning the year 2000. Now it's 20 years later.

Yes, we couldn't enjoy the first time around, @seadbeady. But I plan to make up for it. I love hand blown glass. I was reading their website for activities around the time we plan to visit, and they have wine-tasting rooms along the strip of shops in the old town. Even though I don't drink, I'll go check them out to see exactly what goes on in those shops.
