I Love Gadgets: Dell Venue 8 pro || 10% to zero-to-infinity
Until 2015 when I bought Dell Venue 8 Pro, the majority of Windows 8 tablets and hybrids had screens ranging between 11 and 13 inches in size, making them nearly the same size as the majority of ultrabooks. Even though some 15-inch screens have proven to be quite effective, smaller screens are posing a greater chance of failure.
After searching for the greatest 8-inch tablet with full Windows 8.1 features, Dell arrived at the Venue 8 Pro, which is the result of their search. I love Dell Venue 8 Pro.
With a screen that is not wider than the size of a traditional front door, the Venue 8 Pro is small and super convenient to carry around. The perfect size for taking it with you on the go, this tablet allows you to watch videos at any place, anytime. It’s able to fit into almost any bag due to its tiny size, and it also has up to several days worth of standby time. If you’re somebody who doesn’t need a larger screen that would be inconvenient to carry around, this tablet is perfect for you. For those with children in their family or just people who love to travel and like taking photos while they travel, this tablet is great because of its tiny size.
The Windows button was difficult to locate on the Dell Venue 8 Pro, which was a disappointment. Changes have been made to a little button that may be found at the very top of the screen. You will never be able to return to the main menu if you travel to the location that was predicted.
Despite the low price of $299.99, this tablet delivers excellent performance and has a premium feel and design. However, I'm handicapped by a number of annoyances, some of which are the result of Dell's oversights and others which are caused by faults with the Windows 8 operating system in general.
Dell is an innovative company, and the Venue 8 Pro has a number of attractive features for the casual buyer. It has a large screen, and its maximum screen resolution is WXGA+, which is the same as used by most smartphones and small tablets.
This screen offers great picture quality and supports sunlight legibility. The interface comes together well at this size, but some have criticized its lack of tactile feedback from presses.
Dell Venue 8 Pro delivers the quality and performance that you would expect from a high-end tablet. Its display is a pleasure to use, and Dell has packed it with quality components and innovative features that could make it a great choice for those looking for an efficient tablet.
This device also has an 5MP rear camera, and its 2MP front camera is perfect for photo quality and video calls. Dell Venue 8 Pro has no card slots, which allows you to use two phone numbers at the same time.
The tablet runs Windows 8.1 OS on an Intel Atom processor with a 1.33GHz clock speed. It has 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. If you want to, you can expand its memory up to 64GB with an external SD card.
Dell Venue 8 Pro is available in a number of different colors. You can buy it in black and red. This gives the tablet a cool look that lets the user express his personality through the device that he uses.
This tablet has many interesting features but lacks some of them too. For example, this tiny operating system does not have a native file manager for any file system which makes switching between different types of files quite difficult and slow at times.

- There is no option to dock the keyboard.
- To use USB Host, you'll need a dongle.
- There's no HDMI or DisplayPort.
