On previous article we discussed about the basic factors of medical science. Why needed medicine? Why people are being ill from very childhood? And why technology is an important factor in medical science? Now let’s discuss various technology in medical science.

Disease’s diagnosis technology

On medical sector first comes the diagnosis sector. And we are using various technology in this field. Like x-ray is a technique. By using this, we can saw the structure of the body through image.

Then comes ultrasonography also known as ultrasound scan or sonogram which is used to create an image inside the body using high frequency sound. It is also used for showing the infant while a woman is pregnant.

CT-scan is also used in this field for showing any diseases for bone, blood vessels and soft tissue using a series of x-ray image from different angle. CT-scan is known as computerized tomography. It is mainly used for diagnosis the tumors or for internal bleeding or other damage or injury.

There is more test which are for normal purpose like to count the total blood cells of white blood cells, platelets, red blood cells etc. we used CBC test. There is more test like-creatinine test. On those tests, blood samples are taken from the patient and then tests them on laboratory by hematologists. Here also technology is used, like microscope and for more accurate details electric microscope is used.

For heart rhythm testing there is ECG testing which means electrocardiogram. It is used for heart rhythm and electrical activity. Electrical signals which are produced by the heart detect using the sensors which are attached with the skins. There are also heart tests called echo, which stands for echocardiogram. It is used for looking at the heart and nearby blood vessels. Ultrasound scan is used on that test.

Then talk about MRI, which stands for magnetic resonance imagine. It is a type of scan, and it used strong magnetic fields and radio waves and produce detailed image inside the body.

Conclusion

Not only those sectors, there are much more sectors of diseases diagnosis technique in medical science. But it’s impossible to discuss all of them. There are also different fields in medical. We will discuss them on next article.
