We are become so much idle that, we spend most of the time of our day by phone, laptop, tab or by any other digital devices. On previous days, we saw that little boys and girls were busy in playing, running etc. but in todays all are busy with digital devices. Among all works, social media put a great impact on today. People are spending most of the time in social media. Most popular social medias are Facebook, Twitter, Steemit ,LinkedIn, Instagram, Reddit, WhatsApp etc.
Social media put a great impact in our society. It has both advantage and disadvantage. But it depends totally on the user. How he uses social media defines whether it is beneficial or not.
Advantage of social media
In today’s world, globalization become more popular because of social media. As everyone shares anything on social media as a reason, any news become popular within minutes. If any company want to make advertisement about their product, then they can only do it using social media. Like if you want to make popular than just post it on Facebook. It will be popular overnight.
Disadvantage of social media
Compared to its advantage, it has some disadvantage also. Any sensitive news can be popular within minutes through Facebook. Not only that, today’s kids are so much busy with social media that they forget to play, study ever eat. There was a time when kids don’t understand what a mobile phone is, but now a kid start using mobile phone before he started to go to school. Today’s parents are also responsible for that. They gave mobile phones at a very small age. In that time, it's impossible for the child to understand whether it will be bad or good for him or for his career.

It's not defined that using social media is good or bad, it depends on the user. But people are always attracted for the illegal.
