Discoveries That Have Changed the World (3rd part) by @mrsokal

In my previous post, I talked about discoveries that have changed the world. Today I am writing the 2nd part of this post. hope you will enjoy it.

Computer: The computer is one of science's most amazing discoveries. This computer, in reality, runs the modern world. In reality, it is impossible to determine the role of computers in human civilization. Charles Babbage was dubbed the "Father of the Modern Computer" at the time. The history of the computer, on the other hand, dates back around 5,000 years.

This breakthrough began with the introduction of the abacus, a form of the calculator. The abacus, as it was known in ancient Greece, was a type of calculator. The Napier sister machine, created by John Napier, was the next significant calculator. This device multiplied or divided using nine different sisters or rates. The decimal number system was used for the first time on this device.

After thereafter, no important advances in computing technology occurred until the seventeenth century. But Braise Pascal ended this drought. It was Braise Pascal who invented the world's first successful calculating machine, the calculator. Multiplication and division were not possible with this calculator. Pascal modified the device several times.

After Pascal, the prominent German mathematician Wilhelm Leibniz joined the history of computers or calculators. One of Leibniz's calculators could find the square root of a number. Then in 1838, British scientist Charles Babbage created the Analytical Engine. It was a calculator on autopilot. It had the ability to collect data.

Professor Howard Aiken and IBM engineers created the first automated computer in 1944. The computer was called Mark-1 and was built at Harvard. It matched many notable mathematicians. So the computer keeps improving. Today we can observe what this equipment can achieve.

Paper: The discovery of paper dates back over 2,000 years. The Chinese employed cloth sheets for many types of sketching and writing at the time. But, for the time being, what I mean by the paper is the discovery made by Ts'ai Lun, a Chinese court official. By combining mulberry bark, shells, and water, he created a pulp. The pressure was used to dilute the pulp, which was subsequently dried in the sun.

In the eighth century, Muslim monarchs discovered this technology of producing paper and propagated it over Europe by hand. The earliest paper mills were established in Spain, and throughout time, a large number of paper mills were established throughout Europe. Of course, the paper was only utilized to print required documents and books at that time. The paper was given to the people to British. They began mass-producing paper in the 15th century and spread it throughout the occupied world. And now the Americans have perfected the art of manufacturing paper from wood. This is how we get a crucial component that is widely used in everyday life.

Telephone: The telephone's invention was a major milestone in science. Imagine being transported into Earl's karmic-driven world. Then learn how people reacted to the device's discovery. You'd be crazy to inform someone about a scientific discovery before it's made. One example is the telephone's invention.

Alexander Grahambell is credited with creating the telephone, but this is debatable. They both submitted patent applications for the telephone on February 18 at the Patent Office in Washington. But Grahambell's application was filed before. The patent is dated March 18. On June 17, Bell introduced his created telephone to a large crowd at the Philadelphia World's Fair. This device could successfully broadcast sound.

Gambell's phone, though, was a bit tricky to use. However, in the 18th century, the Bell Telephone Company began producing easy-to-use telephones and rapidly expanded into Europe.

In my next post, I will tell about some more information about these types of discoveries that have changed the world. Till then, keep following and supporting me.
