Galaxy S22 Series throttling

Hello fellow steemians, Samsung recently releases their Galaxy s22 series last month. This was a huge leap for this tech giant. The series consisted of the Galaxy S22, S22 plus and S22 ultra. This series were all using the new android 12 with the UI 4 interface. The phones was to be one of it's kind with high speed that equal if not better than the iPhone 13 series. But upon it release last month there have been lots of complaints about the phone in terms of it's speed.

There have reports that the tech company is throttling the phone. This has led to significant uproar as a group of people have been report to have filed a lawsuit against Samsung.The performance during the play of the games where the Game Optimization service functionis reported to be slowing down the down. Samsung says the Game Optimization service is supposed to increase the performance of the phone while preventing over heating of the phone system. The fair trade commission of South Korea has also been scrutinising Samsung for the same reason.
Samsung claimed that it's phone will be able to hit 120Hz refresh rates if the screen when the phone was been used fot playing gaming games but when ever tge GOS comes into play the phone never achieves that. It raises the question as to whether Samsung had kept valuable information from it's consumers.

Due to thus problem, it seems Samsung is preparing a GOS update to sort this issue by improving the performance of the phone. But it also says that the Game Optimization service does not affect the performance of any non gaming applications. The throttling of this phone has led to geekbench to ban all the Samsung Galaxy S22 series from it benchmark chart as it did to the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 pro.

Throttling a phone is not really the big issue but it being kept a secrets from the consumers. Samsung has not released any official statement one this issue yet. But I hope we will be hearing something soon on this issue.
