Songs from the 70's are awesome and Stayin' Alive by Bee Gees has to be amongst my favorites.

A motivation behind the song is that - Everybody struggles against the world, fighting all the things that can drag you down. And it really is a victory just to survive. But when despite all. you climb back on top and win bigger than ever before, that's something everybody reacts to.

Use In Medical Training

This song is also used in training medical professionals to provide the correct number of chest compression during CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) as it has close to 104 beats per minute, which is within range for the 100-120 beats per minute recommended during CPR.

Infact I first came to know about this song in 2015 while watching Grey's Anatomy Season 11 Episode 15.

And it has been on my playlist ever since.

Here's my entry.

I'm not a great singer, with plenty room for improvement but I hope you enjoy it.

Lyrics

Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk
I'm a woman's man, no time to talk
Music loud and women warm, I've been kicked around
Since I was born

And now it's alright, it's okay
And you may look the other way
We can try to understand
The New York Times' effect on man

Whether you're a brother or whether you're a mother
You're stayin' alive, stayin' alive
Feel the city breakin' and everybody shakin'
And we're stayin' alive, stayin' alive
Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin' alive, stayin' alive
Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin' alive

Well now, I get low and I get high
And if I can't get either, I really try
Got the wings of heaven on my shoes
I'm a dancin' man and I just can't lose

You know it's alright, it's okay
I'll live to see another day
We can try to understand
The New York Times' effect on man

Whether you're a brother or whether you're a mother
You're stayin' alive, stayin' alive
Feel the city breakin' and everybody shakin'
And we're stayin' alive, stayin' alive
Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin' alive, stayin' alive
Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin' alive

Life goin' nowhere, somebody help me
Somebody help me, yeah
Life goin' nowhere, somebody help me, yeah
I'm stayin' alive

Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk
I'm a woman's man, no time to talk
Music loud and women warm
I've been kicked around since I was born

And now it's all right, it's okay
And you may look the other way
We can try to understand
The New York Times' effect on man

Whether you're a brother or whether you're a mother
You're stayin' alive, stayin' alive
Feel the city breakin' and everybody shakin'
And we're stayin' alive, stayin' alive
Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin' alive, stayin' alive
Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin' alive
