Travel To Kashmir

As of today is my first day for the diary game for the steemit family. I want to share my trip memories to Kashmir. Last summer we made a plan to go out for a trip to any of the northern areas of Pakistan with my friends. It was a day dated 20.07.2020 when we got fed up about the corona situation going over throughout the world. as on the confirmation with the government orders, we made a sudden plan to go ASAP. So we decided that we will go right after the next day.

The Day we started our journey

It was around 22nd August 2020. when we started our journey.

so, we reached Islamabad in the morning and we took breakfast. after getting freshen up we headed towards Murree highway and reached Murree. then we stayed in Murree for 2 days and started to relax our nerves which were strained due to lockdown and corona.

To Muzaffarabad all the way to first stop in Kasmir

After Murree, we started our journey toward Muzaffarabad highway to reach Muzaffarabad. after reaching Muzaffarabad we completed our first lap of the journey. then we headed towards Kashmir to reach there as soon as possible. that day was heavily rained so the drive was full of thrill over the steep unpaved round the hills. our first stop was Athmuqam. we reached there at night and we were starving as we travelled the same day about 100km around hills. before Athmuqam we stopped in a way for a tea break and captured some sights of Heaven On Earth. So we stayed in the hotel and got some rest.

To Sharda

On the next day, we again started our journey as that day was also raining heavily. we progressed our journey with around 20-40 KMPH of speed. after the day of travelling while catching many sights in the way like LINE OF CONTROL border betweenINDIA AND PAKISTAN. in the same evening we reached SHARDA. This area has much importance as there is 500 years ago was a university which was best in town even better than DELHI AND LAHORE. the university at that time was giving the best educational facilities. this area also has to heed attention for HINDUS as this was the born place for their GODDESS named SHARDA We took a room in the hotel and ate the food. That day we slept and the next day we decided to go to the next stations but the rain did not allow us to leave the town. so we decided to stay and explore SHARDA. We went to the university which was a great piece 0f art.

This university is fully preserved by PAKISTAN ARMY.

At night we found an eye-catching sight of mighty mountains with fascinating moonlight dispersing from mountains.

To Kel

The next morning we went by bus to KEL because the next journey was not by car. After 2 hours we reached to KEL and walked a bit to CHAIR LIFT to go for ARANG KEL. ARANG KEL is the most amazing and fabulously good plain over the mountains. there are plain fields over the mountains of corns.

We spend our day there and in the evening we returned to the lift down the hill after 20 mins of trekking. and returned to KEL. after that we had to go further next but the weather was stormy and couldn't go further next to TAOBAT and SHOUNTER VALLEY all the way to CHITA KATHA LAKE. So we returned to SHARDA and stayed in the same hotel where we spent 2 days.

To Ratti Galli Lake

The next day we set out to journey backwards. Reached DUWARIYAN and booked a jeep for RATTI GALLI the most thrilling and dangerous jeep trek. After 2 hours of the bumpy way, we reached base camp. Where jeep stopped and we started our next way to RATTI GALLI LAKE.

The next passage was an afoot trek. Within no time we set off on our journey the foot trek was about for 1 hour. On the way, we saw many heavenly amazing sights of KASHMIR.

these mesmerizing scenes arrested my heart. and involuntarily I said SUBHANALLAH to GOD for giving us such super amazing sights.
During the trek, we also saw some kinda trailer of the main lake in the shape of a mini-lake. even that mini-lake was increasing my joy to the next level.

And then we finally reached RATTI GALLI LAKE. And the lake was like a SKYLINE SILVER. It just gave me goosebumps in no time. The beauty of the lake was just giving me a zap moment.

To Khanpur Dam

After spending some time, we went back to base camp. and instantly returned down to the DUWARIYAN. Where we took our car returned to MUZAFFARABAD. We stayed there at night and the next morning set off to KHANPUR DAM. This dam proved to be ** the LAST NAIL IN THE COFFIN**.

To Home

And after that took our dinner in ISLAMABAD. And then we set off to our home. The next day morning, we reached
HOME SWEET HOME.

So, this was my journey for KASHMIR. Hope you also get your imaginations running through those sights and get nourished.
