Recruitment Day

Today, I would like to share about my busy day at the office. As you know a recruitment job is not like a typical job.
We are an FMCG company and we do recruitment on a regular basis for retail operations in the country.
Today we received applications for multiple vacant positions in the sales and administration departments.
We post job advertising on LinkedIn, newspapers,s and on different job portals.

Break time sacrifice

Normally, our lunchtime is from 01:00 PM to 02:00 PM but today I could not manage to do lunch. Because I received 300 job applications and shortlist 50 applications for our current opening. In which we are looking for Sales promoters, Shop associates and Office boys. After screening 50 resumes we finalized 20 candidates as per our requirements.

Team Work

If you have a supportive colleague and good friend in the office, it can make a huge impact on our learning and development. Fortunately, I have a good team player and a good friend at the workplace. Although we have different regions assigned by the Head of the department, we work as a team and support each other. He is the man who trained me in my early days of joining the company. He helped me to understand the culture of the company and in the payroll process.

Time to go home

We don’t spend overtime in the office but complete every task and daily operations of human resources. I left the office at 05:00 pm and reached home after 1-hour of riding. Due to the excessive amount of traffic signals in my route it took almost 1 hour to get home. When I come home the first thing I do is to see my beautiful daughter. She is 2 months old now and getting growth each day with the help of Allah.

After dinner, I stayed at the home due to a hectic day at the office. Normally I do visit my friends every day but today I decided to stay home and rest.

In the evening I spend most of my time with family In this corporate world, we should always spend time with family and shouldn’t ignore this. Work-life balance is a vital thing to stay healthy and satisfied.
