The Diary Game || 30th July 2022 || Meet up with friends, Nikkah preparations and a Good day.

My day started at 9.30 am. I woke up with a sore throat and started recalling what I had last night that might have caused it. After blaming the weather for making me sick I finally left my bed and freshened myself.

The first thing I took after leaving my bed was a glass of warm water and some honey in it. I always prefer trying the homemade herbal remedies rather than taking the medicines right away.

The warm honey water really helped my irritated throat and made me feel much better. I then had my breakfast and scrolled through my phone.

I had invited some of my friends at my place for tea today and with some excitement and dedication made a menu for the hi tea and the list of grocery items that were required. Afterall adulting is all about planning and enjoying such trips to the market. 😉

I reached back home at around 1 pm and after serving lunch to my family I started preparing for the hi tea dishes with my househelp's assistance. I decided to make lasagna, chicken tikka, seekh kebabs, apple pie and cold coffee.

My friends arrived at 5 pm and after having a good chit chat session I served the food. Everyone enjoyed the food and really appreciated my cooking skills which according to them all I've underestimated. 😄

It was my cousin's nikkah the next day and we all decided to gather at my khala's place in the evening for some preparations. I went to her place after my friends left. We filled the bidh boxes with some sweets and nuts, laughed, chatted and had the best time with my family.

After filling all the bidh boxes and completing all the preps we were all extremely tired. We left flr our home and by the time we reached the home the kids were already asleep. I was craving for a cup of coffee so i made one for myself and after a cup of coffee I called my day off.

I hope you enjoyed reading my diary. Being away from steemit for a few days made me realise how much I missed writing the diary and sharing my day with my steemit family. Until next time.
