Assalamu Alaikum everyone!

So today I am going to tell you about my mamo Wedding and let me tell you that this wedding was held in 2019 but unfortunately at that time I was not on steemit so I decided to share my experience with all of you in 2022 although he have 1 child now but I really want to tell you about my visit to Punjab and attending my Mamo Wedding.

I will share all the 3 main functions with you although my tour was so long and my maternal family is from Punjab means my mother is Punjabi but I am not because my father is not Punjabi, the culture of Punjab is very rich and I really enjoyed the wedding my first experience to attend a wedding in my Maternal house.

Mehndi Day

The first function of all the wedding is Mehndi, we do (rasam) the cultural ceremony of wedding, sing songs play (dholak) , dance A lot and many more. So our day started we all cousins were so excited and after so long we all were together so we firstly done with our breakfast then my mom my khala my mami all went for the salon to get ready I was getting ready in the house by myself because I want a simple look on mehndi.

Then we all changed our clothes our house was full of guest we all were waiting for our turn to change then after changing I do the makeup of my little cousin and iron the clothes of my father then my mom came back from the salon she was looking pretty my khala my mami all were looking so pretty. My mom does my makeup and then my cousin Rimi api make my hairs after getting ready when we step out from the room all our cousins were hooting ( Ohoooo ) they just got shocked to see us all looking very pretty😁😂

After that we all took some pictures then my mamo finally got ready then we do the Rasam some kind of rasam they have the groom will sit and all the boys hold the Duppatta after that we came down we have organized the tent of our function right down our house we all pick up the mehndi my at my mamo entry the dhol was playing all boys were dancing ( bhangra ) Punjabis Specialty, after that we do some rasam of (ubtan ) then give mithai ( sweet ) to our mamo the all common rasam.

After that the food was served to all the guest and then after food, Our dance performance started can't share the video here because there is no option for the video but the dance I do was so amazing trust me all the kids danced and my mom my father my cousins my khala all dance we all were so happy.

And then after 10:oo am police arrived and said us to stop because it was too late and the residence member will be disturb so my nana Abu came and said us to finished up all the things and let me tell you in Lahore the only time for the function to end is 10:oo am and then I think that if we was in Karachi we were celebrating till 2:o am but every city has his own rule which is quite right. So we all finished up all the things and get back to the house and that's how our Mehndi Function goes.

Barat Day

So the Barat day finally came and as same we all woke up done with breakfast and then quickly went to the salon because in Punjab the wedding were in Afternoon and we have to go from lahore to Malipur almost 3 hour's distance so we have to be quick.

We all went to the salon and get ready after getting ready went back home all were shocked to us we all were looking beautiful then quckily we do the rasam where sisters have to do the sahra of groom and get money from groom then we all get into the cars we have one bus for guest and 5 cars for all the family member one for our family one for khala family one for mamo family.

We started our journey after some time we take a break on petrol station we eat some snacks and carry on the journey we reached the hall then Fire works started all the boys were dancing then we entered the hall firstly me and mu cousin went in bridal room to see our mami she was looking so pretty after that the Nikkah happened and my mami came on stage we do some Rasam ( Dood piliyai ) where all the bride sister have to give milk to groom and groom have to gave them money after this the gift ceremony begins.

Then the most emotional time came the Ruksati all were so sad the bride parents and her sister after Ruksati we all went back to lahore then after reaching back we do some more Rasam in which all the girls have to stop the groom and bride to go in the room and groom have to give money that was fun and after that we all were so tired we changed and get into the bed finally.

Reception Day

Finally the last function at this function we all were relaxed because it was at the ground infront of our house we get up then went salon after getting ready the photographer came to click some pictures of bride and groom then we went to the hall the entry of bride and groom was superb then all the families came one by one to took pictures.

And we all were clicking our pictures our family then the food was served all the hall was full then me and my cousin took our plate and go on the stage and sit on the floor of stage and eat everyone was looking us but we were chill and eating our food after that the family picture time we all were adjusting ourself in to the frame and finalyyy CHEESEEEEEE 🎉🎉❤

After that we all went back to house the function went so nice I just love the food and enjoyed a lot finally our Wedding finished here the last function.

So our function went so good all the food all the places all the culture were so nice I just had a blast fun in my mamo wedding although I am sharing my experience late but once a experience always remain same. After attending all the functions we went back to Karachi.
