Arfa Karim was a Pakistani student and computer advocate who became the youngest Microsoft Certified Professional in 2004. He was deposited in the Guinness Book of Records for her incredible successes. Arfa Karim retained the title until 2008 and continues to represent Pakistan at international levels .At the age of ten, Bill Gates invited Arfa Karim to visit Microsoft's headquarters in the USA. she passed away on January 14, 2012, due to cardiac arrest ,at the age of 16.

After visiting Microsoft headquarters in the United States, she returned to Pakistan. She gave many television and press interviews. On August 2, 2005, Arafa was awarded the Fatima Jinnah Gold Medal in the field of Science and Technology on the occasion of Fatima Jinnah's 113th birthday. He also received the Pakistan Youth Peace Award from the President of Pakistan in August 2005. Randhawa received the President's Pride of Performance Award in 2005, a civilian award usually given to those who have long excelled in their respective fields. She is the youngest recipient of this award. She was appointed Brand Ambassador for Wireless Broadband Service in January 2010.

Representation in international forums:

Randhawa represented Pakistan at various international forums and was invited by the Pakistan Information Technology Professionals Forum for a two-week stay in Dubai, where a dinner was hosted in his honor. Distinguished guests of Dubai including the Ambassador of Pakistan attended. He was presented with various awards and gifts, including a laptop. In November 2006, Randhawa attended the Tech & Developers Conference, which took the game forward, after receiving an invitation from Microsoft. She was the only Pakistani among the more than 5,000 developers at the conference.

Death

In 2011, Arfa Karim was studying in the second year of her second grade at the Lahore Grammar School Paragon Campus. On December 22, 2011, he suffered a heart attack following an epileptic seizure that damaged her brain and was admitted to the Joint Military Hospital (CMH) in Lahore in critical condition.

Arfa Software Technology Park

Arfa Software Technology Park is the largest Information and Communication Technology Park in the country located in Lahore. The 17-storey building is the first international standard facility in Pakistan. The project was started under the name "Lahore Technology Park", before which it was renamed as "Arafa Software Technology Park" on 15 January 2012 by Sharif.
